That's right, everything. Peanut is my 8 month old Shih Tzu and he should have been named The Garbinator. And there should be crude drawings of lightning bolts on either side of his name for added effect. He is quite the character. Even the way he sits is really funny. His body seems to be too long so he has this hunch on his back and his back legs...he doesn't sit on his legs like most dogs do, with them tucked under their bum. His legs just stick forward.
His apetite is what really amazes me because no matter what it is, Peanut will eat it. On nice days we leave the patio doors open to circulate the air and because we get tired of letting the dogs in and out constantly. Peanut will find sticks in the backyard and bring them in but he won't just chew on them. He'll eat the whole thing. While he's out there he's eating pinecones. Or grass. Or that little tree that's already struggling. When he's not eating those things, he's chewing on Sophie and she really doesn't like that. She's pregnant so she's extra moody and they're at war all the time.
At the end of the day though, when I look at the dogs, I can't help but smile. No matter what happens during the day and no matter how miserable I feel, I have my dogs and they always make me smile.
