I love the colors, Botty. I think they work well together. And I really love the sink basin. /sigh

I need you to come visit and help me go antiquing to find something I can use as a vanity in our half bath so that I can replace the wall mounted sink, which I hate, with something that has a vanity. The only problem is that it can't be very wide; it has to be less than 22 inches wide. And we are having just the darnedest time finding anything that will work.

I may have to give up the idea of a small vanity and go with a pedestal sink, but I am truly not a fan of those either.

wow really nice, botty.  Those colors are a revelation to me -- love the way they work together. Did I tell you I'm on my way?  ;)

    So it's a Master, huh?  Gee, that's a little kinky, isn't it?   (sorry, couldn't resist.  :p)

Zayda......You might find a small antique wash stand that would support a vessel sink or barring that perhaps a table that may have been intended to be a fern stand.
Check eBay for vessel sinks .... both of mine came from there.
Ginger......I know you like a different style and I do appreciate your kind comments.

Botti: I have actually found the vessel sink I want on eBay. It's coppery and gold looking, and I think it will go well with our freshly painted "asparagus" bathroom. :) They do have a wall mount unit that you can purchase for them, but it's a bit too mod.

And yeah, I think I might look for a small wash stand. Ohhhh...a fern stand is a good idea. I'm looking for something in darker wood. (Which will clash with the toilet sinks right now as the vintage toilets have solid golden oak seats and lids on them, which I'm not too thrilled with.) Or a small but deep bookshelf would work depending on the bottom of it. The other problem we are running in to is that the heater vent is on the wall right under that sink, hence the reason it was probably a wall mount sink to begin with.

I hope to replace the vanity in the larger upstairs bath too as it's not got any counter space around the sink but that will likely wait for awhile until I can find just what I want.

Wow, an actual basin, I never see that around here, that's really unique!  Those colors are so warm and relaxing.

Absolutely adorable!!! I need to have a talk with you...... I'm thinking of redoing the entire tile work in my entire master shower but am kinda scared.....

Unique.....The vanity was a dresser rescued from my grandparents home when it burned down in 1926.
Zayda......Your oak toilet seats can be stripped and stained to match other pieces. The sink you've found eBay sounds like one I considered. Very nice look!
Hegg......That sink came from eBay. Glad you like it.
cntlvmenuf....Glad you like it. Private me if you want to ask questions about tile work. It's expensive but the durability will make it worthwhile. It not only last for ever and a few days but it's super easy to clean. Ask all the questions you want.

regret...
I was just reading a blog by a slave/sub and I wonder if they are being treated right. of course then I think well, they're a slave. But don't subs and slaves get to have rules that apply to them. i know so little about that world and yet I find myself...
I miss him so much...
