Sooooooooo love the fireplace. This all looks fantastic Botty. Are you done?? Totally with the whole house? I hope so.

Hey Woman!.....Nope...we're still not done the whole project. The dust has yet to settle on what we've done so far..............believe me when I say drywall dust is absolutely invasive for months!
Most of the interior is finished....just some final touches....except for the basement but compared to the rest of the project the basement is minor. New carpet and a refit on the bathroom plus a large window.
The exterior is yet to get a new roof, new face on the street side and some landscaping. If I havent run out of money or sanity the next part will be an added room on the main level.
Salad is a wonderful addition. I'm doing a Chicken Caesar and a bowl of Ambrosia. Borscht, perogies, poppy seed roles, scallops in a secret sauce, garlic mushrooms, corn souffle, fresh home made bread and boiled wheat are all in the showing. -

The gentleman who will create the Scallops a la Secret hasnt let on what the sauce is. I'll keep an eye on him when he's in MY kitchen making it. He is the all time Wizard of Sauces. The man makes magic with any sauce he touches. Even worse....he isnt even gay.l -

Woman.....I'll check on his swooning tomorrow and report back. He may have to play dead tomorrow. His 16 year old son and I share a birthdate (uh..just the day and month). He bought the lad a motor bike for his birthday and now the lads' grandmother, his mother, is regally pissed at him. She is firmly convinced that motor bikes are lethal weapons. Could be I'll get to do a bit of conflict resolution.......the sauce better be made before the war begins! -

Hey bot- This was so neat to look at. The fireplace I might steal. Mine is done in rock, but not nearly as eye catching. Although I like a lot of wood and generally like one wall color (we have three due to wife) your color scheme is most impressive. This looks like it came out of a decorator magazine.
You got good taste. Wonderful job.
