    I had to look up yeti  :o)  . Hair doesn't really bother me. I used to go out with a dark haired Italian girl,  you often could see the hair on her arms and legs. I liked it. As far as the shaving thing goes I like it both ways, I can take it or leave it.
     The Italian girl's name was Leatha,  her father had light hair. He reminded me of Cousin Itt.

Yeti ...... being of the hairy persuation myself I sympathize.  Can you afford to buy some disposable razors until your razor surfaces?  I find it ironic that women shave so much of their bodies to be smooth and appealing to the opposite sex (eyebrows, lip, pits, legs, crotch, etc) and men show up looking like a wooley mamoth without giving it another thought.

  Lol Frags, wow.  I did know that if your armpit hair grows out it causes 'em to stink worse.  It gives the sweat and other gross stuff something to stick to.  WE learned this though, from my BIL, because on a drunken dare he and all of his friends chose to shave their armpits and see how long they could go without deoderant.  They went for a week without stinking as bad as usual.  Lol, I don't know if they still shave their pits ... but damn was it hilarious to hear about.

  uni - "the hairy persuation"???? roflmao - yeah, i'm going to HAVE to make a trip to the dollar store!  and yeah, why is that that so many men expect us to look like hairless pre-adolescents but they won't even think about trimming some of that FUGLY back hair?

  qp - it's a very good question...i would like to know who the person was that decided it would be a good idea to take a razor to their armpits/legs etc...

  I have hairy armpits.  I also have a slight mustache.  My legs need to be shaved as well.  The only thing is that I really don't care.  I'm not out to impress a man.  If I turn them off, I'm safe.  There is a method to my madness.
