i was watching a movie earlier and there was a line in that movie that really made me think...

high school never ends...

it's so true isnt?

high school never ends...

even in soulcast it feels like youre in high school. there's the popular ones that everybody likes. the nerds. the clown. the dorks. the bad boys. the cheer leaders. the sluts... etc...

i mean in every post here it really kinda remind you of high school...

even bullies...

there are some bullies here. i dont know where are some of them (i think theyre still here and just using alts).

when i was in high schoool. i wanst the popular one. i was the fat-friendly-virgin-kinda loner- weird-never-had-a-boyfriend girl...

i dont have any groups or anything... i can be a friend to all... i have close friends that are the most popular in school and the most ignore in school. and until today i'm still friends with them...

i wasnt really bullied in high school but there some nasty stuff that some people did to me...

like there was this girl who puts liquid white out on my hair... and thinks it was funny... i almost cried in class for that. but i didnt... the lesson learned was never let these kind of people get me...

and until now life has still some shitty stuff for me.. does it let me get me?

sometimes...

but i'm trying not to let it get me...

i guess that's difference after high school... you change... you grow... you handle everything better...

so if soulcast is like high school.. who am i?

i'm the paranoid girl who whines a lot about life but gets back on her feet. the freshman that is still growing up and is finding her way through life.  the exchange student that keeps learning about the culture and sharing her own. the cute one...

yes i'm the cute one. lol...

so who are you if soulcast is like high school?

keep on blogging!!!

high school only ends when you decide to quit playing by those rules.  Yes, we do like to label people, but only YOU can decide whether or not to play into those labels or not.

uniquely: true. it depends on you. what i meant on this post is that it kinda remind me of high school where many different people just doing there own thing.

I guess I'm the cold hearted one.   I remember one day in jr. high school a girl named Donna slugged me in the jaw because I resembled her boyfriend !  She begged me to pass the message on to him. I didn't but I found out Donna was no virgin ;o)   .

i'm long out of  high school and agree completely with u-i
life doesn't have to be just like high school if you don't allow it to be.

In high school I was a music nerd, very shy.  I don't think I'm that kind of person here, but I'm not going to label myself just on principal.

I loved high school. And I was a lot cuter then.
  • secretlife said on Apr 28, 2009....
eh, i'm still cute, just alot smarter than i was then.
of course that's a matter of opinion-
  • Fallyn said on Apr 28, 2009....
hmmmmm, i was the quiet shy one that seemed more aloof and intimidating and stuck up than quiet and shy. I didn't have many friends but that was due more to my own insecurity than to not being popular or whatever.

i still wish i knew in high school what i know now....my life would be a lot different.

I was a bookworm wallflower who floated on the fringes of the social groups.  I was nice to everyone and only had a few close friends.  I never had a boyfriend until after high school.

Hmmm, high school. So NOT my favorite time in life. First let me say I graduated 43 years ago. I would love to believe that things have changed but I suspect (from talking with grandchildren) not so much. In high school I was a strange combination of quiet, funny, introspective, and like Uni, rather a music nerd. I never lived up to my potential. Well, that's what my guidance counselor told me a good dozen times... I think I was cute but I was TALL and back then that did not make me very popular with the guys. A couple didn't care but overall, no. I always always felt out of place.

Now I am a lot different. I don't think of life as anything like high school, in fact as soon as I went to college I thought, oh, this is better. I can be who I want. I don't care what other's think and realize they mostly don't care either. I am a million times stronger and more focused. I think I've retained some sense of humor and my own 60 year old verson of "cute".  And by the way, I LOVE being taller.

So, I don't think SC is like high school or I wouldn't be here, but I have to factor in  that I am a different person that I was then. You all just be yourselves and I will enjoy that. Thank you for letting me feel comfortable being who I am too. And thank God, I am so far away from that time in my life.

Maybe there are two of me. Double the pleasure double the fun  ;o)   .
This girl Donna liked me a lot, I agree it was a strange way to show it. That woman in the restaurant has me convinced that there is somebody walking around here that looks just like me. He must be very handsome too. It's really not our fault, we were born this way :o)  .

fraggle: ok! ok!!! youre the rich girl that everybody loves but secretly hate because theyre sooooooooooooooooo jealous of you!!! like blair in gossip girl...lol... ;-)

woman: i'm just comparing high school.. nt syaing soulcast is indeed like high school but with the cliques it sometimes can be... and i saw your pic. youre beautiful than cute... ;-)

cayyenneman: ohmygod that would be weird!!! maybe you have a secret identical twin????

  • Hegemone said on Apr 28, 2009....
You know, back in high school I was the overweight, quiet, shy, nice, friendly, helpful girl who could fit in with any crowd.  Nobody did mean things to me, they tried freshman year, but I stood my ground and after that never had problems.

Now though, I'd say I'm the sometimes outspoken, friendly, helpful, bitchy girl who gets along with just about everybody, unless you piss me off, and if you piss my friends off, watch your back, I might seem nice, but my bite is bigger than my bark.

I was real quiet in High School until I got my drivers license. I was the family chofer whenever dad was away on a business trip and that turned me instantly into a popular kid.
Had lots of fun but all that fun took it's toll in my studies.  Barely scraped along in math and chemistry but since I hated those my partying wouldn't have mattered at all really.  I really struggled with chemistry. I guess I was popular and made decent friends but mostly I remember the partying not the studying.
