Hi all
Can you please advise me of the best way to enter into this community. Is it to write my own blogs or to comment on others. I've done a little bit of both but with little or no response and have taken some of my postings off cause of no response. As I read some of the posts I can see there have been some great relationships formed and that there are genuine caring people here. Can you please tell me whats the best way to slip into this community. I am wanting to feel a part of it and believe who I am can both benefit from this experience as well as positively contribute to it. Signing up with soulcast is my first time on anything to do with the Net so the language of blog etc is totally foreign. I am trying, but its all new and I really don't know what I'm doing.
Your advice would be very much appreciated.Heavenlysent

Start by posting your own blog. Then visit the other blogs and post your comments there. Soon the others will take notice and will drop in to pay you a visit. Already having something for your guests to read may get them interest enough to come back.

Subscribe to the publishers you like and they in turn will also subscribe to you.

    God bless,

I will share my experience with you....I spent my first week reading others and getting to know the lay of the land. I found people with whom I could relate. Then I started blogging. I am not doing this for money....just for the friendships. Good luck to you! I will keep my eyes open for your posts!

When I subscribe to a person it usually means that I like what he/she writes about. I usually visit the people I have subscribed to often and leave comments on his/her blogs. I would also try to connect wih the person and to hopefully have him/her subscribing back to me in return, then my subscriber list becomes something like my buddy list. Of course it doesn't always happen that way as not everyone returns that favour. As you can see from my list, I have subscribed to many more people than I have subscribing to me.

At the main page of the SoulCast website you will be able to see a list called Popular Members. While everyone gets listed on this list from the most popular to the least, your posiion there is directed related to how many people you have subscribing to you. The person right on top of the list is the one with the most number of subscribers.

heavenlysent, there is a an unwritten understanding here that when a person subscribes to you, you are also expected to subscribe back to that person, but you will find out that very few people actually follow that understanding anymore.

Thanks for that it makes perfect sense now, what a great way to build relationships. It input is so appreciated.
I think I have subscribed - your name is now on a list of people I read and I see I only need to click there to catch up on your writtings. Is that me subscribing?
