Has anyone had any luck with the Lemonade Diet (Master Cleanser, by Stanley Burroughs)? People are saying they’re loosing weight on it, but it was really designed to help improve overall health. You make a lemonade using fresh-squeezed lemons (of course), real maple syrup (not Log Cabin), cayenne pepper, and spring water. The books says you should stay on it at least 10 days, and up to forty days.
You drink the lemonade concoction all day, and a cleansing tea before bedtime. First few days, I wasn’t hungry, but I missed the idea of eating. Well, let me just say, after day six, I fell off the lemonade wagon, into a bowl of ramen noodles.
I had been feeling so bad the last few months. I’ve been taking all kinds of vitamins and supplements, doing Kundalini yoga, and even had $500 worth of colon cleansing sessions a few months ago, and really wasn’t feeling that much better. So, I decided to try this. I could stand to loose a few pounds, but I was trying to detox my system.
While I only stayed on the diet for six days, I must admit, that after I started back eating, I am feeling better. There is also an internal saltwater wash (using sea salt) that you use too, that is supposed to clean your insides.
I’d like to try it again in about a month. Does anyone have any helpful hints as to how to stay on it longer than six days?
