  I don't have all the facts and stats associated with it. Since I wouldn't use it, my opinion would be determined by whether the good points outweigh the bad.

  I don't think it should be legalized like beer or cigarettes.  However, I think it should be made available by prescription for those with medical conditions such as glaucoma.

  I'm going to say yes also - legalization would probably grant more control over access, in a way.  It's no more harmful than alcohol and should be subject to the same restrictions.

  I personally think it could help out in lots of ways, financially for our government for starters.  Maybe there would be less aggression if people were openly allowed to do it instead of hiding it and beingp issed off that they have to hide it.

  I worked with people who used it and at first I was a bit shocked to find out but I knew they sometimes had very stressful times at work and a little bit of sweet leaf seemed to help them relax and be able to face the afternoon. They weren't stoners or anything. They just had a little toke to help take off the tension. They still performed their jobs without fault later on, so I started to think that maybe it wasn't all that bad.
  
  To be sure, the old proverb, "All things in moderation a wise man makes" applies here. Alcohol, when imbibed excessively, can cause a lot of harm but it is not illegal, at least not for "adults". I think it wouldn't be so bad to legalize weed but I am certain we would still see people abusing it. And there's always the concern that people who overdo it will find themselves looking for stronger things.
