I am pleased that the EU is holding a personal injury scheme to help prevent car accidents caused by speeding. Bulgaria alone witnesses 40% of all crashes caused by speeding. The campaign will target motorists who do not wear seat belts and also those who speed, and attempt to educate them that speed kills.

Hopefully, the programme will have a lasting effect on the public.
