  Travelr: Dear lord, this world today, it's is probably the hardest time ever to find a job, nontheless, keep one. I pray that Travelr gets a job and I pray that job helps support his every need. He may not get one right away, but you absolutely know when he'll get the job and let Travelr know that you are in control. I pray that you will guide him down the right paths and get through the toughest predicaments when finding this job. Although he may stumble, you always provide a way out. Please, take Travelr by the hands and show yourself and your wonders to him.
   
  Holly: I pray for Holly as she helps raise her wonderful and smart boys. I pray for them to have absolute strenght and preserverance. Give her sons what Holly desires times 7. As her children grow up, they will face some of the hardest challanges. The will be tempted at some point in there lives. They will be away from home at some point in their lives. I pray that through these points, you also hold there hands and guide them around these troubles. I pray that they gain the knowledge and grow wiser throughout the days as they face those challanges. Also, give Holly the strenght, patience, and wisdom to also stay by her childrens sides, and yours, as she witnesses every moment her boys get themselves into. I pray that you may all grow old, together, and thank God for being the father of these children.

  Holly, there is a promise God made for you all and I figured it was extremely appropriate to read and remember that God really does provide a way out for your boys. If you seems to have a question on the verse, feel free to ask and I will provide you with what I can. 1Corinthians 10:13 reads:

  "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to us all. and God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

  To get a better understanding of this verse, before asking me, read from the beginning of Chapter 10 up to his promise (vs.13).

  CW: I pray that CW can become fit and healthy, gaining happiness and prosperity along the journey. I could be wrong, but she seems to be the kind of person to pray and do things for others, sacrificing herself for the ones she loves. It is truely a gift that she bears and I pray she hold onto it, but I deeply pray that she is able to spend some time alone with you. Focus more again on herself with you guiding her. Let her go out and treat herself and become fit and healthy again the way she wants too, in the process, gain happiness and peace within herself in you.

  *E*~~ how truly, truly beautiful was the prayer you said for my sons...and in turn, for myself...they are grown young men now, ( i started waaaaayyyy young...lol), so, of course, their challenges become more difficult as they grow...however, since sept, 08...there has been huge upheaval in our lives, and as they go through their struggles, i am so proud to see that they have taken what has been taught them by their single mom  :) , and remain faithful and constant in their belief that everything happens for a reason...whether it be known to us now, or yet to be revealed...every little prayer helps, and i sincerely thank you for your beautiful gift of prayer...
   
  (btw) may not seem it, but i know my bible well...lol...corinthians being one of my favorites ( both 1 & 2)...one of my favorite quotes (not cor:) for perseverance is this~    "i consider the struggles of today, nothing compared to the glory yet to be revealed in us"  , so relevant to our situation.

  Yeah, It is a little hard to notice if someone knows their bible very well because of the free range we have to post pretty much whatever is on our minds on SC. But it's so very nice to hear that you do. I on the other hand, do not know my bible very well. I went to a sort of bible camp this past weekend and they gave us that scripture in one of the lessons. When I came home, I wanted to post something positive. I wanted to give people here the opportunity to give a prayer request. Sometimes, when given this opportunity, regardless of who you are, makes a person feel good, important, and loved during the difficult times.

  i'm a firm believer that the more positivity we, as mere mortals can contribute, exude, send out, into the cosmos of this world, the better...can you imagine what would happen if every single inhabitant of this crazy third rock from the sun, would send out into the atmosphere, some vibe of positivity, some wonderful thought, prayer, wish, hug, sentiment, deed (etc.) every day?
   
  it would change the world, wouldn't it?
