What can I say, this is a once in a lifetime visit, who would have thought that a comment I made on Uni's post ages ago would lead to a friendship, kinship really for the two of us.
I never would have thought it, especially being the internnet, trusting what is put out there is almost like saying the sky is purple and sand is green.
However I digress, apology over its now time to introduce you to my little world. I am hoping that Uni and I can get a chance each day to upload pics not just of here but where we've been the day before... as for here, well lets try welcoming you to the house first... no inside pics, that will come later, also no real huge outside pics either Uni can blog that when she arrives - you will see then exactly how we live upside down! LOL
Hauling ass to get out of the car the first part of the house you see is this area.... if you look closely at the left of the pic you'll see my sign "closed today" tee he he he
It will most likely be late afternoon by the time we get home anyway tomorrow so the light fades quickly in the rainforest, very quickly.... first stop the balcony... beautiful fan palms and coconut palms too along with cluster fig tree's, fox tail palms, ferns and ginger plants. The air is so fresh here you breath pure oxygen, your senses overload with freshness and odours of vegetation, the sounds of birds, frogs crickets.
sipping your first martini you can't help but notice the pool and decking.... you just want to take a look....
Ahhh there it is, inviting blue water, a vista of grazing land below and mountains beyond.... the deck is best at night, as the sun goes down, the sky above so clear and blue.... care for a swim? the pool looks kind of small here, its quite long and refreshingly crisp at that time of the afternoon.
Looking back towards the balcony with all the green overriding any sense of tiredness, the light shifts and it gets darker, calmer, the forest gets noisier all you want to do is sit, look, listen, talk and feel a special kind of centerdness, alignment....
Tomorrow is another day as they say and tomorrow is going to change two lives, indelibly forever.
