The recent don't ask don't tell debacle originally spearheaded by Bill Clinton is a long ongoing debate on gays in the military. So who is getting the shaft here? The gays or the military. What part of this policy sucks? Bill Clinton bent over backwards for both sides of the aisle, he reached around and brought everyone in. The military claim lifestyle is getting shoved in their faces and agree stiff penalties should be enacted for "telling." Some critics say this is nuts and will blow up in our faces. All points need to be pounded home and no-one should try to ram their personal beliefs into the discussion. You can't just slap someone in the chin with nutzo beliefs. Besides, gays can shoot the enemy, they can cock their guns, the carry heavy sacks and other gear. The can do squat thrusts and push-ups and jumping jacks, and run, why not let them blow away the enemy?
