    I don't consider myself an atheist. Agnostic thiest maybe. I have a great love of taoism though and like the eastern veiws on energy (chi) and modern science seems to indicate that they could have been onto something. If god is anything it is the energy that seems to hold this universe together. As for the religious texts I enjoy reading them but they are as flawed as mankind itself. That words written by a man could somehow be above question just sends me into fits of giggles.
     
    Lao-tse's wrote that the way of the universe could not be be described in words and that it would be insulting both to it's power and to the intelligent human mind to attempt to do so......however it's nature could be understood and life from which it was inseperable understood it best. :)
