Moondance
For the dances in the past and the Full Moon tomorrow.
Together we walk through the park,
Just the two of us out in the night.
This day’s end we are shaded from dark,
With the moon in the sky, full and bright.
The breeze, by angel wings, lift your hair,
The scent floats to me, I excite,
I touch, so soft, your skin fair,
Your beauty, my eyes, amazed sight.
Feet pause to bring in, the moment, in time.
Our presence, fill the ambient air tonight.
Hands touch, tender sensation, what I’m,
Feeling deep, causes longing, I invite.
Limbs wrapping, pulling close, profound embrace,
Loving clasp, holding firm, but not too tight.
We are brought, connecting face to face.
A moon beam, meets our union, pure white.
Listen close, the melody, starts playing.
Harmony, in song, our hearing, unite,
The rhythm, causes bodies, begin swaying,
This song, so familiar, the words we recite.
A gust brings night air and though chilly,
The cold nips slightly, we sense the bite.
Caressing more snuggly, as lifting a lily,
Warmth from embracing, often, never trite.
Music strengthens, the dance starts, ever smooth.
Gentle leans, more intense, weight shift, ever slight.
Clean emotion, affectionate, your presence, doth soothe,
The romance, time dilating, the passion, ignite.
The sensation, so intense, any discomfort, dissolves.
The fantabulous consciousness, I am high as a kite.
The story, too perfect, our friendship, evolves.
For you are my princess, and I am your knight.
Future approaching, this night, will reminisce.
For you, forever living, I will, always fight.
Eyes connecting, splendid instance, we kiss.
Seamless dance, flawless moment, perfect night.
