  Sean- I see you point, and it's a very valid point. I'm not just pointing out the stupidity of the NAACP or the SCLC. It's the stupidity of ALL organizations that don't try to help people better themselves, but help give them an excuse not to. It's really easy to sit back and say, "okay, let's stop black-on-black crime" but what the hell are they doing to help these people? NOTHING. They don't give them a chance. And it's not just that organization, it's millions of other organizations all around the world. I basically think it's just an under-handed attempt to keep people dumb without any access to resources to possibly better themselves.

  I live in a very poverty-stricken part of town, where I, as a white female, am the minority. I am judged by the color of my skin around here, and I am called "white girl", "cracker", "honkey" and all of the other discriminitory names that a white person can be called. So for you (or anyone else, for that matter) to say that I am an idiot takes some serious balls. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I appreciate yours. However, until you have walked a day in someone else's shoes and seen what they live every day for them to write their opinion, perhaps you should back off and educate yourself a little bit more. Besides, who are the black people going to blame all their problems on now since "The Man" is now one of their own?

  What is there for white people to advance? A lot of things. First off, how about the fact that the ones the have led the country for so many years have brought the country to the lowest point in years? How much more can the United States take? We all, not just whites, need to advance our minds and stop thinking we are such a supreme being. We are nothing more than a bunch of primitive fucks. We can't even run our own country, and we are sticking our noses in other country's business. That's what got us into this economical position in the first place. Now look who's in office. He's trying to better things, yes, but the fact of the matter is, until we as a SPECIES, not just a RACE, start understanding that we can't control the world, we are all doomed for the same end. We are killing each other and the earth slowly, and no one race is any more to blame than the other.

  White people control the world's wealth for a number of reasons which are only somewhat connected. We'll start with what I think is the "root" cause.

  1.  Europe sucks.  No place else on earth do you have to work so damn hard just to stay alive.  Africa, America and Asia are all plentiful food wise.  You didn' tneed to fight nearly as hard for survival so Europeans were historically superior at war which counted for a lot.

  2.  People hang out with their own.  Whites have the money now (I don't think there is much  debate on that) George W Bush got hooked up by his dad and his Dad's friends not because he was white but because he was Bush jr.  The end result is the same but the cause is not and there is no way to really combat that cause.  (aside from  Affirmative Action which has an equally negative effect)

  Perhaps the comparison to the KKK was a bit extreme. They use tactics that are purely race and religion based. I just disagree with the fact that they focus on non-racist and political issues rather than the real problem. I live in a ghetto where, as a white woman, I am the minority. I see the struggles of black people every day, but around here, white people and other races are just as poor. It's not a color thing around here. It's a demographic thing. They can put a liquor store in the Kroger grocery store up the street, but you have to go across town to have a huge selection of necessary groceries. They said they didn't have the money to remodel the store to make it as big and nice as the ones across town, but they spent over 1 million dollars to keep us liquored up and poor. Does that make sense to you? It doesn't to me. I'm not saying that black people don't still struggle, but in this economy, everyone that isn't well-connected and living off of mommy and daddy's money and name is suffering.

  The NAACP isn't doing anything to better the people in this town. They aren't giving anyone the resources to get jobs or get off of welfare. They are allowing women to keep having children they can't feed and take care of, and they will continue to pay them a check and food stamps each month for each child.

  So, again, perhaps the comparison to the KKK was wrong, and I acknowledge that, but I was pissed when I wrote the blog. Being a poor white person is just as shitty as being a poor black person.

  Yes in this economy everybody is struggling, regardless of really anything.  Yes there are poor white people I've never denied that however the percentage is lower.  And it passive racism.  Perhaps not in your specific neighborhood but would you agree that in general races still self segregate socially?

  Again when it comes to living off mommy and daddy more whties are in a position to care for their (adult) children than blacks.  I don't always support the NAACP and wish to God it would get new leadership but it still serves a purpose.

If I get married at 17 and between my wife and I we have a child, but our combined income is under $14k/yr and we are taking welfare, food stamps and unemployment, we qualify, but if we earn much more and do not rely on the government tit, then we don't...
  
  I'm back to class-ism, not racism, because regardless of skin color, the above example works no matter what skin color you have. It's not a sliding scale... I just don't understand your argument here.
