Not a lot of time or energy at the moment.  I'll probably be on pretty sporadically for the next couple of days still.  But thought I'd drop in to let you all know that I'm back at my computer and everything went swimmingly! 

We are both pretty tired and have funny aches and pains, but no major injuries.  There is still a TON of work to be done.  2 rooms full of boxes to unpack and a lot of stuff to assemble or hook up.  But the essentials (bed, tv, computer) are set up, lol.

Cats and rabbit all adapting fine, some quicker than others though.

A lot of little adjustments and getting-used-tos and making-it-ourses that will have to happen but nothing outlandish.  We're still thrilled with the place.  And I'm especially thrilled because we're filling it with only nice things that we actually want.  I mean we have gorgeous curtains, a lovely area rug in the living room, handsome matching computer desks, new stove, even new sheets for the bed.  We have our own washing machine too (not sure if it still works; haven't had a chance to test it yet).  I don't want you to think I'm materialistic - maybe I am a little, call it "nesting".  But this is the difference between living on hand-me-downs and standing on our own two feet.  It feels great.  It feels like we've finally arrived.

I'm just so happy and excited, I couldn't even tell you guys.  We've actually got a whole extra room that we can use for whatever we want!  We have a back door!  We have curtains, and we can open them sometimes without feeling like everybody and their dog can see what we're up to.  We're going to DECORATE! (eventually).

Life is so good right now.  It's not always good, I know that.  It's been not good plenty of times in the past and it could be not good again someday.  But right now, it's so good I just can't get over it.
