Girls all around me have already pulled the "I'm pregnant!" card or, "Oh my gosh guys I'm getting married!!! Tee hee hee!..... APRIL FOOLS!!!

Alright, let me set you up here.... I have an incredible boyfriend that I have been with for the past few months. I've known him for 2 years and we actually dated for a little while last summer as well. Anyway, we are pretty comfortable around each other, although he complains once in a while that I seem somewhat reserved at times. Look, I'm the type of girl that just doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve. If I have something to tell you or that I think you need to know, then I'll let you know. But I just don't go spilling my soul out to any Joe Shmoe. There are also certain times and situations for specific conversations as well, so when I'm ready to share my past experiences and feelings and am comfortable enough to do so, I will. But sorry, it will be on my time..... not yours. You gotta earn my trust, it isn't given freely.
Alright, so lately I have been working on being more open with him. I trust him and have been confiding in him more and he has been very pleased about that. Well for the past week I have been kind of setting him up for today... (April Fools Day)... I would make little remarks about how there is something that I really want to tell him, but haven't been able to because I don't want him to judge me. He of course says he would never judge me, he loves finding new things out about me. He has also been very good about giving me my space and knowing that when I feel comfortable, I will talk to him. So today is that day....

I plan on asking him over for dinner. While sitting and eating, I am going to tell him that there has been something I have been waiting to tell him, and now I finally feel like it is the right time. I'm going to tell him that I did some jail time a few years back. It's something that I am very ashamed of and hardly anyone knows. (By the way, if you saw me you would know that I have never been to jail. I am very clean cut, conservative and even went to a Catholic Elementary school from K - 8th grade, and then a Catholic High School. I have NEVER been in trouble with the law, so this is going to take some convincing. Good thing is, I work at a law firm and I know legal terms and what not to help my case.)  So.... why did I do time you ask? Well... I had a boyfriend for 7 years. We lived together for almost 2 years, and I'm going to explain how we got in a fight one night, a really bad argument, and I may have sort of stabbed him. Now I'm a pretty good actress so I will have the most embarrassed/ashamed look on my face... I'm just going to ham it up and drag this out as long as I can. I KNOW he won't believe me at first. But my story is solid. I got my mom in on it, my best friend who is my room mate and will be there at our house, and I know my performance will be flawless. I can't WAIT to see the look on his face when he finally starts to believe me. This is going to be F-U-N! Mwaahahahhahaha!!! <<evil laugh>>
