I am shocked by the behaviour of MPs and their lavish expenses. It is that their compensation claims filed by such MPs have increased by £8,000. The total claimed by MPs funded by the taxpayer reached £93 million.

Under such expenses, mortgages on second homes can also be paid. I am tired of the public funding such leaders and often wonder why they should get special treatment, when after all, the average Joe Blogs is struggling in the recession, with no help to fund the money for a mortgage. The MPs ‘John Lewis list’ makes the financial downturn even sourer for the rest of us.
