I was listening to Rush Limbaugh the other day (a rare treat for me) while I was on my way to an appointment. He was talking about black being banned as a paint color for cars in California, I believe it was. That would make sense. I could believe that if he was talking about California or any of the original (and liberal) 13 states. Can a state do that, ban a color? They think it will help save the planet ... somehow. I suppose black causes an automobile to attract more heat and then the driver has to use the air conditioner more. Is there no end to liberal, environmentalist wacko-ism? Are people in California really that stupid, stupid enough to allow laws like that? These are by and large the same people that make all the movies, TV programs, and music we watch and listen to. And they are stupid enough to allow laws like that to go into effect? I am starting to doubt their stance on other things as well (wink wink). I was beginning to have a little more hope for California, considering the vote on the homosexual marriage issue, but this takes them back a few squares. Rush proposed, based on the reasoning for banning black (heat from sunlight), that the law should not pertain to vehicles only driven at night. That would probably be a little hard to enforce, but how much do the cops have to do in California? They must not be that busy considering all the illegals they allow to pour into their state every day. I suppose brown is beautiful even if black is not.

See, the way we're going about all of this stuff, and its quite interesting you bring it up Alien ... but every little thing like this, every oppression, every jab to human freedom reminds me of the book 1984 by George Orwell. However, I have to wonder if the control is actually for our species as a whole to be protected and live long and "comfortably" or is it really just another power play and has too good of a mask to make it obvious? Further, black car paint is not the only solution to global warming and whatnot ... maybe they should do a little more research and come back again later with a few better solutions. -

I haven't heard anything about this. I live in Cali and I'm pretty sure that it will never fly. Too many limos and other high end cars in black to make it even thinkable. I think Rush was pulling your chain. -

Socialists / liberals / leftists are like rats, they keep nibbling away in the dead of night. We hear them in the distance, but we ignore them, and we pay for it later. Rats, like the ones Winston had to endure in George Orwell's "1984". Orwell was only off about 30 years in his predictions. In his futuristic world (at the time he wrote it), there were three great powers in the world (i.e., USA, Russia, China), two of which were always siding against the third. The world was in a constant state of war, and run by what we now know to be Democrats / socialists / liberals / oppressors.

According to Rush, they are trying to sneak it through. There is a lot of that going on today. Suddenly (or not so suddenly), the public is too stupid to deal with things. We need to demand some proof of all the crap Al Gwhore is puking into the air waves and into the national conversation. And I think they got it just right on homo marriage. Adult men should not be allowed to marry 12 year old girls either (or fuck them). There has to be a line somewhere. Now you got me going on homos again. Way to push my buttons. Here is a question. If you are not a homo, why are you so ready to throw thousands of years of tradition into the crapper just so some fairies can feel better about their sin? The vast majority (straight people) are never going to accept homosexuality as normal no matter what happens -- marriage, thought control laws, nothing is going to change that.
