  I'm sorry you're going through this at the moment hun.  now i don't know your Dom personally of course so it is hard to judge him but no one and I mean NO ONE has the right to take their frustrations out on another.  It is a childish, bratty thing to do in my books (I should know I wrote the book lol!)
  
  Is he fully aware how he is making you feel?  HAve you explained it to him in detail?  You most likely have but thought I'd ask anyway.
  
  You need to also make him aware that he is on a fast track to losing his current sub if he continues with this behaviour.  If he can't control his own emotions how on this earth does he intend to be a Dom with the care and control of another?!  If he can't control his own emotions how does he intend to convince you that he can make rational decisions on your behalf?

  Thanks for you kind words pusscat.  He has since apologized.  I told him how he made me feel and he said he was sorry.  He was having a really bad day.  But, he still has that bratty childish side in him.  So, right now we are still continueing on but I will not continue to be his if this behavior happens again.  Like you said, how can he be incontrol of me if he can't control himself.

  I had a little "flutter" when I was very young and naive but I couldn't keep doing it.  When I see anyone in any kind of costume I burst out laughing uncontrollably and I can't stop.  It just looks so ridiculously silly to me.
  
  As you can imagine that killed the mood -  irretrievably so.  
  
  After that I could not do up the belt on my trousers without giggling for five minutes.  Oddly enough I do meet people I'd like to beat the living crap out of but I don't think it's quite the same sort of thing....  I think it's some kind of twisted political-sexual kink thing.   Maybe underneath all this fluff I am a closet Nazi......  I don't know.

  I hope things feel better now that He has apologized to you but I would make it clear that He cannot be that way again.  I have a wonderful, sweet, kind, generous master but there are times that I feel the one-sided sting of things as well.  He does not mean it - and much of it is ME just not wanting to bother Him, not asking questions or letting Him know how I feel.  Everytime I do - it turns out bringing us closer.  Hope things get better but if not, pick up your toys and find somewhere else to play.

  it's crap like that that scares people away from doms in general.
  i am the only dom i know which is kind of awkward with my "normal" friends who hear stuff like this and assume that i am the same way. the stereotype of an angry slave master is detrimental to the truly caring doms who now have to deal with warped perceptions.

  The answer to your question is: Yes, they are all assholes. They can't help but be. It's in their nature. How else would they be able to derive pleasure from sadistic behavior, cockworship, punishment (whether it is deserved or not deserved), or having anyone become submissive to them, controlled by them, etc. ? Of course they are assholes. The bigger question is, what does that make women like us for wanting to please them?
