Not a lot to talk about, but just a couple of small things. At least this weekend left me with a feeling of accomplishment as we did get a lot of various things done. It's a nice way to lead into the work week anyway.
There is something that needs to be done tonight, or ASAP anyway. We were out running my horse yesterday and I'm watching her run and see her hind hoof catch a stick and it almost messed her up as it flew up and caught her OTHER hind hoof. If that would have tripped her ... if it would have wedged any differently ... I shudder to think it ... but she could have broken a leg. That would mean an instant put down. There is no way I could afford to nurse her back off of that. I would die, seriously, a piece of me would just be gone. I mean, I'm watching this happen, I'm too far away to make her shy away from where the stick is, and my heart just leaps up into my throat while something else dropped heavily into my gut and I'm going 'OMG, don't break your leg!' Luckily she didn't, she was fine, but that's the something that'll get done tonight ... we're going to go out in the pasture and pick up all of the branches, logs, and sticks that are strewn everywhere. Its too much of a hazard, and its getting warm enough that we'll be out working her more, so its time to clean up.
I also enjoyed yesterday because, as I had mentioned with the Spring cleaning, we went through a lot of stuff. I THINK I'm about done with the clubhouse boxes, which I emptied two of those just condensing and throwing things away. We took the boxes out of the shed behind my dad's garage and managed onto to need to take about 10 games, 3 movies and 2 CDs inside, so that wasn't all so bad. There were TONS of pictures in one of the totes though. I never realized just how many photographs I had! I mean, there were 3 photo albums, 10 packs of pictures, three undeveloped cameras, and two Whitman's candy boxes FULL of pictures. We had fun going through them though. I loved finding the photos of Yellow Kitty when he was no more than a week old, and then when he was about a month old thinking he was such a bad ass, trying to get all nasty with the 160 lb German Shepherd we had. Of course I found those pictures as well. I need to see at some point if I can scan those on my other computer, save them onto a disk and put them onto my laptop. If I could figure out how to share 'em again as my Photobucket will not upload photos from my computer anymore.
Nothing else feels as if its worth mentioning. I'm at work now muddling through all sorts of crap that just feels pointless. I was, at one point, ready to rip my hair out as my boss gave me this HUGE stack of crap and wants me to sort it and put it into binders. Its all of her school papers from this most recent class she was in for her Master's degree. Now, sure, she IS paying me ... but seriously, can't she organize her own school work? This shit was so messed up, I didn't even know where to start ... plus there were TWO sylabi for the same class. I'm like 'How the fuck do I organize this!?' I've managed to separate things and get them ready. I'm working on contacts for something else. I've got 1 hour to go. I hope it begins flying, I'm ready to run out of the door now!
