Within a few months of quitting smoking, you'll have a reduced risk of developing a major smoking-related disease. These conditions include various types of cancer especially of the lungs, mouth, throat, and esophagus, together with heart disease. The benefits from quitting smoking do not extend to you alone but also to your family, friends, indeed anyone that you spend a lot of time with. Not longer will you force them to be passive smokers. Also quitting smoking will allow to you to come in from the cold. Most of society is anti-smoking there days and as a smoker you were always something of an outcast. You no longer have to huddle in the cold with other addicts puffing away at the addictive white sticks. And if all these benefits from quitting smoking were not enough, just think of all the extra money you'll have. Governments know they can raise taxes on tobacco to outrageous levels and there'll still be people willing to pay. Decide today that you're not one of them.
