  RollingC:  This is going to be much worse than just an economic depression.  It's going to change the world as we know it.  The first step is to make people aware of what's happening.  I mean, if they're paying attention at all to the news, they should be able to figure it out for themselves... he promised to bring the troops home immediately, instead he's not only projecting another couple of years in Iraq, but also sending more troops to Afghanistan, he promised to repeal the Patriot Act, instead, he voted to renew it.. and the list goes on.  I am sorely disappointed and concerned that a post like this has received so little attention... only 20 views in 12 hours (and a couple of those views were me).  People really need to start paying attention and fast.
  
  I think GW was a test of the American people to see how much they would take while they were bent over with their heads in the sand, and his administration proved that people will take just about anything, so now, they're really stepping it up.  At no time in history has the question ever been more important.. "What if they held a war and nobody showed up?"   Only this time.... where are people going to run to?  You can bet with the new North American coalition, Canada is not going to be harboring refugees.
  
  I would love it if this post would inspire some serious brainstorming.  This is real life.

  This is Vietnam with a different twist to it but political promises are all conveniently carried out within the political time frame...not our time frame.
  Interesting that I was talking today with a retired intelligence officer and he agreed with me that the economic storm that's happening now was most probably pre-conceived by the movers and shakers and it's all orchestrated to their political agenda.  Their world political agenda that is.

  mobil:  Yes, I know.  That's why I'm looking for some more input here.  Since I'm mostly out of the loop with what's happening over there.  Of course, there's a lot more to this film than just forced military service (which, by the way, I don't agree with... I've never declared a war on anyone, and I don't want to participate in one.  The scariest part of this, is that he's continuing this idea that we'll be perpetually at war with "the terrorists.")
  
  RollingC:  Yes, sure, but he ran his campaign pretty emphatically stating that he would bring home the troops "immediately."  Not only is he not doing that, but, he's actually sending more troops to Afghanistan.  (I hate politics, too.... of course, you'd never guess that with the gist of my posts lately...lol)

  An absolute pure fact here is you take any public figure in history and if you have tape and speeches, with a little editing you can make them out to be anything, good or bad.  Pure propaganda, that's all it is.

  Alex Jones is one of the biggest dunderheads in the world.  He sells bullshit for profit.  He has come out with some seriously nutcase assertions in his day.  He slithers around the depths of our culture with the same kind of slime that publishes headlines in Weekly World News like:  George Bush Has Alien Love Child! 

  Read President Obama's book and then compare it with the video.  This is coming from someone who is no fan of the President, I didn't vote for him, and hope we have a short four years until conservatives get back in power.  That said our President is a decent human being and this video is unfair and misrepresents the intentions of him and our government.

When industry went to Mexico, it did not hire the men and refused to pay the women a living wage. this little bit of social engineering was put into place by Capitalist greed - this is the locust mentality of the living dead.

  I have a hard time with things that are so black and white. The conspiracy theories are usually far to simplistic to reflect reality. Don't get me wrong, the dems and repubs aren't much different on economics, but that's the only thing Americans will vote for. And I don't necessarily disagree. I think a few small tweaks and everything is generally fine.

  mobil, SMB, bloc, andora:  Okay, it's easy to take a stand one way or the other based on an emotional reaction or a propensity to either believe or disbelieve "conspiracy theories," but what I'm looking for here is some serious rebuttal.  Having lived outside the US for the last 7 years, I haven't followed the presidential campaigns very closely, so for example, I would like to know if any of the speech clips that appear in the film were taken out of context or if something, in particular, was misquoted, and shaded to give a meaning other than what Obama intended.  For example, did he or did he not say that one of his first acts in office would be to repeal the Patriot Act, and did he or did he not vote (after taking office as President) to continue it?  That's just one example.  There are many other facts that you could contest, and if you know of anything in this film that is false, please be specific.  We all know that anyone, including scientists, the media, religious leaders and even kindergarten teachers (not to mention mommies and daddies) can take an element of truth and skew it in order to support an argument.  But just generalizing and saying that that is what was done in this film, just because you either don't want to believe it or have some other reason for denying it, is just not conducive to the discussion.  Here' your chance to educate me, but please be aware that opinion does not constitute fact.  Let's have a discussion of the facts, please...please... please.

  Regarding the patriot act. This is one of those things that's oversimplified by the video to make a point that I don't think stands up to thought. The patriot act is a giant thing, most of which is good or benign, with a few pieces that are terrible. As a senator Obama voted on an update to the patriot act that fixed some of the worst parts about it. It didn't go far enough in my view, but I don't think he did something terrible.
  
  It's hard choice to make. Do you vote against something that has a lot of good things in it because of a few bad pieces? What if even with those few bad pieces it's still better than the original bill and so would be an improvement?
  
  I'm just not seeing anything sinister here.

  EACH PERSON MUST DETERMINE WHAT FEELS BEST FOR THEM....if that means staying engaged with the beast (the world of finance, politics and religion) or becoming a hermit...it is simply a matter of choice. some people thrive on stress and intimidating form, I've had enough of wallowing in the muck of false idols. this does not mean that i am going to allow China or the United States to roll back the clock on human rights. I know where these people live, and all I need is their name or their image. It is possible to neutralize violence if one understands how magnetic principle operate. There is tremendous power available to those who have a reciprocal electromagnetic light body, however, if they try to use this energy to harm others, it will bite them on the butt!
  
  my way of disengaging simply means establishing self-sufficiency so that i can interact with the larger group on my terms.... this is the action of self-love
  
  the illusion of separateness is what most people suffer from. I am well aware that my inner world is connected to the group, whether i touch, see, hear or smell them!  Therefore, I have been studying the human collective ferociously my entire life time as a way of understanding my own denial and/or indoctrination - In this way I can release the false reality that i have been observing by first taking responsibility for it. If i am responsible, i also have options for solutions that feel good to me.
  
  The 'One World Order' is such a frightening prospect, because everyone is subconsciously aware of the group idea that is robbing them of their God given sovereignty --they were indoctrinated by a Universal paradigm that effects every single human being regardless of nationality, race, religion or education. People everywhere have already conformed to a global cabal that is based upon Tyranny and Fascism, but they are too afraid to notice. This cabal is the natural creation of what the group believes, just as Hitler was the reflection of the world's dominant god-concept.
  
  The more i take responsibility for my own reality, the less effect the group has upon my well being. Just because i have removed myself from the populace does not mean that i do not track them....i also track earthchanges daily/weekly. As a result of the prayer work, i have found that my desire is being given special privilege simply because i do not believe in denying what i desire --since the group is in denial of this love, it is available for me -- in this way, I can and do make decisions for the group, since they consistently and consiously abdicate their soveriegnty.
  
  Whereas, the dominant paradigm convinces those who have a conscious desire to be "good" people, to reject their personal desires for the "group good". there is nothing wrong with being devoted to the group, if it were sustainable....but it is not, nor will it become sustainable if it does not reconsider the basic precepts about reality.
  
  Devolution is a declining vibratory frequency that experiences its' space closing in upon itself, ending with a grave. everyone is in a trance with this agreement, in such a way that they have lost their personal Will and are stuck in a compelling idea that pushes them to reject their choices in favor of futility. you can hear this in their conversations, see it in their posture, and observe it in their social structure.
  
  Evolution is an evolving perfection -- in the presence of love, there also exists an incumbent Will to Live that keeps the heart open for opportunity and adaptation. This reality is characterized by ever-expanding realities.
  
  anyone who wants to be free of the beast must turn to the earth at this time, because there are no realities that are seperate from the earth and also capable of  sustainability.

  OK, I spent five precious minutes watching the first part of the first video.  If I am going to be convinced to waste any more time on this I need something more than the stringing to together of out of context news clips that are juxtaposed to suggest something ominous without actually getting to the point or demonstrating that there will indeed be facts presented.
  
  
  When I was in college a long time ago the popular idea of the day was that  Bush senior, et. al. were constructing a "New World Order" and that we would all soon be subjugated to de facto slavery.  That meme has just been replaced by another one.
  
  
  It's a fantastic idea to keep our leaders feet to the fire and to never stop questioning authority no matter who is in charge, but please let's not end up like the UFO folks who see aliens on every remote mountain top.  This video comes off more as a conspiracy thriller than a real look at power structures.  I would suggest that it comes as a pop culture answer to the fears most people are having about the economy and nothing more than that.
  
  
  I've been around too long to jump on board any quick and easy thing like this.  And it's no less fear mongering than our late great dictator George Bush's tactics.

  i'm not a fan of obama, to say the least. i'm not a liberal or a conservative, a republican or democrat. i think both parties are playing that game with special interests, and where is the person who will side with the people of america? whoever he is, he isn't getting elected to high national office. obama pretends to be that man but he is not.
  
  i like the lincoln quote in the video. i didn't know he discussed the power of the financial industry. lincoln was a truly great president and great man. he "got it". he was the best we've ever had.
  
  a lot of the video leaves much to be desired. but i do like the joe rogan and lincoln sections.
