  As for tasting it ..... well I have a story about that.  When my son was a baby I went back to work at 6 weeks after disability ran out.  I pumped breast milk for him for his daytime feedings and stored it in the fridge.  One morning I was making coffee for myself and looked in the fridge.  No milk to use as creamer.  I cannot drink black coffee, it hurts my stomach.  So .... what to do, what to do?  I had a lightbulb moment!  I grabbed the breast milk and used it to lighten my coffee.  Can't say it was as good as cows milk, but it served the purpose.  And my son still had plenty of milk left.

  However, just a tidbit of info for you. Nipple stimulation can trick your body into labor. Making it think your little one is ready for the big world. So, be careful especially now that you are in your third trimester.
  
  Now, I also know of women who started pumping breast milk during this time and delivered full term. So, it doesn't happen to everyone.

  Suckling produces MORE.  It's even got its own name "letdown".
  
  Suckling tells the body that the baby has been born alive and needs food.
  
  Playing with nips inducing labor?  I haven't heard that and I bet it isn't true.  If it were, every woman would cuff her husband to the bed after exactly 20 weeks and 1 day and he wouldn't escape until contractions began.
  
  Colostrum is quite different from the milk, tho.  Maybe you'll have to report back on the second sample.

  dyingman...it is absolutely true. Just not many women are made aware of it unless they are at a high risk for delivering early. Above is just one article but, there have been several studies. Just look up nipple stimulation and preterm labor and you will get all the information you need. Orgasms can also bring on labor.
  Which is why I have been on pelvic rest this entire pregnancy and told no nipple stimulation. Total bummer!

  Well I've never had children of my own, but knowing my SIL, who's now had three, there will definitely be plenty of milk.  In fact, when she was ready to stop they had her taking cold baths and some medicine to slow it down so that it would stop, because even though she had stopped pumping and breastfeeding, it was still coming in full force. 
  
  While I also have not tried breast milk myself, aside from when I was a baby (duh!), I do have a funny story about it.  So apparently my SIL and The Thing were doing the pumping thing and putting it into bottles in the fridge. Well, one night the Thing got up in the middle of the night to get a drink, and there were two containers side by side in the ice box, similarly shaped.  He twisted the lid off of one thinking it was some juice he had bought earlier and it was not normal juice, it was booby juice!  He liked it though, so, I received the gory details (gory because its my SIL, she's sort of like that pain in the ass older sister I never had or wanted) of how they would hop in the sack to get horizontal and he would on purpose stimulate her breasts to get milk.  That said, I remind you, she had PLENTY of milk.

  In your current condition - your boobies are most sensitive now so be gentle with them. It will keep on producing milk even after delivery and for some months after that. So don't worry. It's just the natural scheme of things.

  Dying man, ive heard that too, that thats the way it works, getting rid of some only makes room for more to come.  But there are some women out there that dont make some.  My cousin E, she just didnt have any milk, the baby drank what had accumulated and that was it, she was empty. So she couldnt breast feed.  So sometimes it doesnt work like its sposta.  I believe the booby stimulation can trick your body into thinking its time for labor.  Bodies arnt all that smart and can easily be tricked.  Ive heard of women who want babies sooo bad they trick their bodies into thinking they are pregnant and they turned off their periods, mentally...

  Hege, for some reason that strikes me as perverted.  I mean, its weird enough that that guy enjoyed breastmilk, but the idea that they made it sexual just really disturbs me.  Its like, breast milk is for babies and its not supose to be a sexual thing and if women find nursing sexual, they need to be hospitalized...The idea they did this during sex cuz it got them both off, creepy.....

  Thanks scip, ive heard of women bresatfeeding until their kids told them they didnt want anymore!  I swear, i saw it on a tv show, some mom in england or something was breast feeding her 5,9, and 13 year old kids...I think that when your kids are old enough to know what boobs are, that its time to quit for sure...

  I am high risk for several reasons. The major one is that out of my previous four pregnancy only one was full term. The last baby and the only one who required hospitalization was a 29 weeker. I am also over 35 and they usually consider IVF babies high risk just because of the extremes we go thru to get pregnant.
  So, we have had sex one time during this entire pregnancy, I take 17P to relax the uterus, I have ultrasounds every four weeks, and now I am pretty much on bedrest. It hasn't been an easy ride but, its almost over with.
  
  And it will be so worth it when the little man is here.

  My buddy and i are reading this together and both of us are wearing a smile ear to ear . We both like breast milk and though it's unlikely we will ever get the chance to sample again we carry around a portable breast pump just in case !

  omg vacant, im 30 weeks, i couldnt even imagine having the baby last week!  Thats nuts, according to my little books about pregancy the baby is only a little more than 3ish pounds.  How big was the 29 weeker?  Oh gosh, I also cant imagine being on bed rest...money first of all.  Of course it would just suck to have to not do anything (it would be cool at first) but i bet it gets old fast.  Oh but it would be neat to get so many ultrasounds!  : ) Gosh vacant, youve been through a lot, i cant imagine how worried you must be.  Im sure everything will be just fine.  Yea ive heard being over 30 makes pregnancy in general a bigger risk even with out invetro.  Goodness...i feel for ya...xoxo!  Watch some afternoon sitcoms for me k!?  I like king of queens and family guy! : )

  Sandman, you are kidding me.  You carry a breast pump around?  I think if a woman was crazy enough to give an adult man her breast milk she might be crazy enough to let you take it straight from the factory.  : P  Glad i got ya both to smile!

  Haha Star it's not so creepy.  I'm not into it myself but I dated a guy who was. He had other issues too, let's say.  But anyway.  It's the kind of thing that the first time you hear it you think "OMG gross!" but the more you think about it the less weird it starts to sound.  I mean if you think about it...aren't babies the result and really the whole point (biologically speaking) of being sexual?  So a woman who is fertile and pregnant and producing milk is, to some people's way of thinking, at the height of sexiness.
  
  It is actually possible to stimulate your breasts to make milk even if you haven't been pregnant, though it's very hard to do and doesn't work for everybody.  Like people who adopt, if they are dead set on having that experience, they can go through a program of nipple stimulation to try and convince the breasts to make milk. Of course it won't be enough to actually feed a baby and keep it alive, it'll still need to take a bottle, but the mom can have the experience of breastfeeding her baby.   Just goes to show you what a woman's body is capable of.  There are also systems...sort of like a beer hat but for boobs, whereyou have these tiny tubes that run down and lay beside your nipples, the milk comes through the tube and not from the breast but the baby is essentially breastfeeding, and sometimes if you use the system long enough you'll start to produce your own too.

  It is perfectly normal for couples to sample breast milk.   For some it is very sexual (regardless of taste), and becomes an integral part of sex/lovemaking.  It was for us, and many of our friends (not all).  Taking the bodily fluids of the human that you love, and ingesting them, making the elements of that fluid part of your own body, is utter intimacy.  It is no different than swallowing semen, and can have the same profound erotic effect.
    It won't be there for ever . . . Enjoy sharing while you can!

  I dont know, i would think ingesting semen was grosse too if it fed a baby.  I guess i think there is some sort of sanctity to nursing the baby and making it sexual would taint it.  I dont know, just seems weird to me, and not a lot of things are weird to me, so that is weird.  : P  Ill have to get Phil's opinion.

  My 29 weeker weighed 3lbs 1 oz, 15 and 1/4 inches long at birth. He spent 6 weeks in NICU.  It was definitely a scary time. Which is why I am doing everything I can to keep this little guy in for as long as possible.
  Bedrest has its benefits, like being catered to. Sleeping when I want to. But, it does get old fast. Luckily, for me money isn't a huge factor right now. Hubby has been the sole supporter for awhile now and we have just learned to make that work. I'm a pretty thrifty woman and don't buy much in the way of new.
  I am more at ease now that I am close to 34 weeks. That is a real milestone in baby's development. I hit that this weekend. Plus, hubby has agreed to cut back his travel for the last 6 weeks.

  Also, I've always heard nipple stimulation (especially in your last
  trimester) could bring on labor, in fact one of my SIL'S was advised
  by her Dr. to do so for that very reason. I, like you, enjoy touching my
  breasts, and remember that for the final 2 months or so, the nipple
  stimulation caused some REAL contractions!! I think that could be
  part of the reason that I always began dialating way before my due
  date, and always walked into the hospital dialated to 4 or 5 before
  any seriously hard contractions ever started.
   
  Many men are turned on by the idea of sucking breast milk from a
  woman's boobs. My husband never was into that, but I'll tell you~
  I'm naturally a DD, and once my milk came in, those suckers were
  unbelievably large & full (and hard as rocks!!). Occasionally I would have
  to squeeze just a little milk out between feedings just to alleviate the
  pain and built up pressure. Once, when I was at a chair at the kitchen
  table, and he was standing at the counter, I squeezed, and TOOK AIM
  directly at him. That sucker fired like a water gun across the room & all
  over his shirt!!  heeheehee  Needless to say, we laughed our asses off!!

  Holly, our bodies are fascinating, and yea i get my best advice here on soulcast : )  I cant wait for my breasts to get rock hard and look fake! lol, ive always had huge breasts too but they havnt ever been rock hard.  38DDD is what ive always been and now im an F!  I hope they dont get any bigger but i hope they get all hard like your talking about : )  Thats hilarious that you could shoot across the room!  Oh im gonna have sooooo much fun messing with Phil : )  hehe

  I've had breast milk before...only once really...and was surprised at the way it gushed out.  I squeezed the breast of the woman (gently, while she was on top while making love) and milk gushed out of her nipple and got my face all wet from the first squirt.
  I like the taste although I don't know if before the baby is born your body is just going through the start-up motions/procedures.  But from what I do know is that once your baby is born you are going to be a milk producing machine with no chance of drying out unless it is genetically inherited by you or medically induced with prescribed medicine.
  You are going to have so much milk that I suggest keeping a bottle of it in the fridge to store the extra as probably your breasts are going to hurt if you don't do your regular baby feeding.
  How you get the milk out without the baby's help is up to you.  Many people talk about the pump but I'd rather do it the old fashioned way and help the woman with milking her breasts.   Any excuse to cop a feel.   LOL

  Rolling, Phil had a similar experience, except he didnt know the woman even had a baby and was intensly surprised when he sucked her nipple and milk came out.  Ugh, I dont even like the thought of Phil sucking on someone elses nipple so thats enough of that.  But anyways, the fact that you liked the taste prolly means that actual breast milk and this colostrum stuff is completly different.  Thats smart, im planning on having a fridge full of breast milk, not only cuz my boobs will explode if i dont but bc id like to avoid formula as long as humanly possible and even if i stop nursing i would like to bottle feed with breastmilk, lol, as long as humanly possible.  I am not looking forward to $20.00 tubs of formula when i make the stuff for free : )

  I have another experience w/milk/sex:  I was having sex with a young woman for the first  time.  She had taunt, rounded breasts.  While I was eating her pussy, she began to orgasm.  She arched her back, became vocal, . . . and milk squirted out of both nipples onto her chest and stomach. . .
