as an update to my troubles with washington mutual i should say this: after filling out the claim form and making copies of my old and new cards, i went down to my branch of washington mutual in midtown. i asked someone to fax it to the proper division. and the amazing thing is that washington mutual credited me back the first unauthorized charge of 64 bucks. i'm still waiting for the second charge. the fact that they credited me back so quickly is encouraging.
