I swore I'd sleep tonight, no luck. I tossed and turned for hours, even watched my husband sleep and giggled at his snores...however my own sleep was ellusive as usual. I watched the clock time tick over knowing the alarm would sound within seconds, tired as can be no less.
Today is the first day of school here, my daughter of course is running around doing the routine "Mom I can't find this and that", she's a nervous wreck but also excited. I'm excited for her and yet I dread the boys taking notice of how much she's matured over the summer! Just need to teach one of the cats how to be an attack cat then all shall be well...or so I like to tell myself, wishful thinking I know. I thought she'd ask for a ride but nope, she's going to walk to the bus-stop with her friends, I do believe my baby has come to that lovely stage in life where being seen with mom is only cool if she's carrying pizzas for the crew. I'm just glad she's smiling.
