There have been some great movies over the years. PJ's Lord of the Rings films, Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back, Monty Python's Life of Brian...
But what about the bad ones? What would you consider the worst movie ever?

I found Max Magician and the Legend of the Rings hilariously bad. A low budget film with poor acting. But, then again, there are thousands of crappy, low-budget films. No biggie.

On the other hand, Aeon Flux was very polished, very high-tech, very artistic. Yet it managed to suck. That makes it stand out.

Wikipedia has some nice suggestions. Battlefield Earth wasn't too good. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier had some awfulness (and actually, I disliked Star Trek X: Nemesis, but that's more because it was a bad Star Trek film, not because it was a bad film).

"Bringing out the Dead" with Nicholas Cage and Marc Anthony.

What a solid waste of two hours. I'm not joking. There is no reason to ever see this movie. But if someone knows of a reason other than to know what qualifies as a solid waste of two hours, be my guest, maybe I can learn something.

"POW: The Escape" starring David Carradine

"Body Rock" starring I forget who

"Any Given Sunday" directed by Oliver Stone - I hate this film largely because I want all the "protagonists" to lose, suffer and die. I have never seen so many vaccuous, self-involved morons put together in one film.

    Anything with Will Ferrell

Every Steven Segal movie after "Under Siege"

"L'Avventura" by Antonioni. What a crashing bore!

"White Line Fever" starring Jan Michael Vincent

    Most recently:
    "Superman Returns". Hated it!!!!

I haven't watched any Will Ferrell films (unless you count Dr. Dolittle), but I'll agree they all looked stupid from the promos.

Sorry, no. Dr. Dolittle was Norm MacDonald, not Will Ferrell. I'm so ignorant. :-(

I have to ad "meet the Deedles" couldn't finish that one.

Oh and a recent one was " The sounds of thunder" In this masterpiece a timetraveller kills a butterfly in prehistoric time causing visible time waves to cause a "new" evolution. you get stuff like monkey-lizzards etc. This movie sucked on all levels, including some new ones that was previously not necessary to describe sucking.
