I don't know about other people, but to me getting old is a horrific expericence.
As ayoung girl I was very actuve phisically, but with a very lazy nature. I used to do a lot of aerobics (that was the big thing when I was younger), and I started dancing and working out after I gave birth, so I never really had weight problems. The first time I did, was after giving birth, and a year and about 12kg later I decided to take it all off. It was almost easy to do so, once I got up from the couch.
But about 5 years ago my life took a drastic turn and I no longer had the time or the money to dance or work out. I could have got up and walk at night after my son was asleep, but as I said, I have a lazy nature.
My weight gain is 2kg on avarage when I live comfortably, eat what I like or can, and do not work out. I have had some excersize here and there, when I successfully lost 2-3 kg but it was never long term. So now I am back to that weight that I once sweared I would never get back to. Actually, I think I might have gone even more. The best I can do now is working out twice a week, and believe me, I am working hard, but I am just that much older, that this is a far cry from what my body would need to lose weight.
I also realised that I have a recognizable hair loss just above my forehead, and my hair got much thinnner and weaker too.
There is one teeny tiny liver spot on my right hand, which I know only I can see, but is there.
I can no longer have food with onion or vegatables like bell papper, or broccoli without suffering from gas, and my back pain literally knoks me off my leggs during that time of the month.
I cannot detect any visable wrinkles yet, but I can tell that there are two lines on my forehead and one on my neck that will soon become permanent on my skin.
And the boobs..... Lets just say that my bra size grew, but not as a result of plastical surgery.
The worse part - I'm just a little over my 3rd X, and those monthly outbreaks are still there on my chin! I have the skin and hormones of an 18 years old when it comes to those ugly monthly bumps. How lucky..........
