I would like to take a castle tour in England. I've found one with British Tours that I would like to go on someday. I would get to stay the night in Amberley Castle in West Sussex. Castles have always seemed so majestic to me.
Whether is be Camelot, fairy tales, or tales of hauntings, they captivate me. I would dearly love to spend some time soaking up the rich history trapped inside those walls. It would be a memorable trip, I'm sure.
This is the tour I've chosen to begin with. The information is courtesy of BritishTours.com.

Overnight Castles Tour
(2
Days)
Visit three of England's most historic castles - Leeds, Hever & Windsor Castle - and Stonehenge with your own expert guide. Spend the night at historic Amberley Castle.
Your personal tour guide will collect you from your London hotel. Visit
fairy-tale Leeds Castle
surrounded by a lake and considered by many to be the most beautiful
castle in the world. Steeped in over 1,000 years of history, Leeds is
sometimes known as Lady's Castle due to the number of Queens of England
who have lived here.
Also visit Hever Castle, a 13th century moated castle,
childhood home of Anne Boleyn and setting for her courtship with Henry
VIII. Hever is open from March 1 to late December - if Hever is closed, please ask us for an alternative attraction.
Your overnight stay is at luxurious Amberley
Castle in West Sussex. Hidden away for 900 years near the
picturesque village of Amberley in the chalk South Downs, Amberley Castle
is a magnificent historical treasure that offers a truly unique
experience. Through the Portcullis and 60 ft curtain walls you will find
beautiful landscaped gardens, fine examples of medieval architecture and
an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
On
your second day, your guide will collect you from Amberley and drive
you to Europe's most famous and fascinating prehistoric monument Stonehenge.
Choose for your next stop either Hampton Court Palace a favourite palace of Henry Vlll beautifully situated on the River Thames or magnificent Windsor Castle,
England's oldest, inhabited royal residence with its magnificent State
Apartments, St George's Chapel and Queen Mary's Dolls' House, perfect
to the tiniest detail.
After your tour, we can return you to London or to Heathrow Airport.
If I ever actually get to go, someone will have to pinch me so I'll know I'm not still dreaming.
