  Democrats just want to punish rich people ... supposedly. Most of the people in
  Hollywood and the media are rich and they are also liberals. That is how Republicans
  gain control again. Rich liberals forget what a real Democrat administration is all
  about -- taxing the shit out of people. All liberals care about is keeping it legal to
  murder their unwanted babies and keeping homosexuality legal. When they get that
  tax bill, it brings their feet back to the ground and they secretly turn Republican
  again. Otherwise, Republicans would never get into office. Think Arnold. Of 
  course, Arnold has turned into a liberal Democrat so he will not last long in

  At the beginning of the campaign, Obama basically said [and I understand this is a para-phrase, you zany libs] that he was going after the rich. That's why, once Obama came to power, the stock market plunges at his every word. It is the result of the "rich" taking their money and pulling out of the market. They take their businesses overseas, lay people off in droves, close their doors and basically give America and its economy the proverbial finger. Rich people don't have to spend money. They can sit on the sidelines for two, four, or up to twenty years if they want. They don't have to pay for everybody else and they choose to take that responsibility in whatever country they take up residence in.
  
  This is one of the reasons why [in an economy "like this" that] small businesses tend to flourish. The gap left in the market allow small business owners like me who choose not to charge outrageously for goods and services to fill the void when the big boys take their balls and go home. In fact, this has been one of the most profitable first quarters my business has ever seen. I don't look forward to getting butt-raped on my taxes next year, but as a venture capitalist [who happened to be a young black man] told me, "if you're making plenty of money, who cares what your tax debt is?" So long as I didn't just work ten times as hard to net just as much money as I did last year (and last year was one of my worst years ever for my business), then I'll be satisfied... Not over-joyed, but not totally disappointed, either.

  Think barter or cash. All of what you said (about the rich) is why socialism 
  does not work. Socialist (and Democrats) think they can over tax the 
  productive and they will just put up with it. It does not work that way. 
  Even a chicken will not ring the bell if there is no kernel of corn reward.
  If people work harder and just have to give it all to socialists and deadbeats,

  @ALIENated -- Before I "incorporated" and some KC-based jack-hole left me $5k in the hole with $3k in bad checks, I literally bartered for food with my restaurant clients. You're right, the productive will do only the bare minimum that they need to do to get by... Kinda like what the non-productive do now anyway... See? Level playing field, ripe for a socialist regime!
