When you provide corporate welfare to credit card companies, stock market trading companies, nationalize automobile makers and other credit companies, that's Socialism 101.
When you control populations by giving international support to abortions, providing third-world countries condoms and give genocide a blind eye, that's Socialism 201.
When you cap salaries of CEOs, that's Socialism 301.
When you starting giving money away to banks in order to nationalize them, attach strings to federal money going to states and otherwise control your nation through federal monetary control, well, that's just plain Socialism. Congratulations!
Last time I looked, the United States isn't Russia. (This isn't Russia, right?) We don't live in a Communist society where everybody gets the same house, the same car, the same education, the same income and the same job (based on a stupid written test that determines your inner talent), but some people out there -- who don't have what they feel is "fair" -- seem to think that we all should.
Sadly, they are the people that were brought into power last November. How many of you are now kicking your own ass right about now? Not me, my friends, I didn't vote for this guy. Sure, you can chastise me all you want for voting for McCain (I have a soft spot in my heart for red-headed soccer moms who shoot things with rifles and wear glasses), but I saw this coming a mile away... Socialism. I didn't need some blow-hard talk show host like Sean Hannity to tell me we were heading that direction.
All of you so-called Conservatives who decided to screw the rest of us should be lined up first for treason. Sure, Bush made plenty of mistakes, but he believed in this country and he knew that Americans were the most resilient people in the free world. The people who sit in the White House hate this country, and subsequently, they hate you too. They think you're a bunch of idiots, and their chronies say so on the news all the time. You so-call Conservatives who voted for a progressive leader are traitors to this country, and you will get what you deserve through the twisted version of "fairness" that your elected President will now give you.
In the meantime, I am beside myself as to how this country has just sat back and took these past 30 or so days. For one, I haven't heard one harsh word out of the black community (short of now they think we compare our beloved dictator to a rabid monkey). I would have thought that the NAACP and the Black Panthers would have both been out of a job now, but so far that just isn't so... I would have thought that every white person on American soil would have been labelled a skin-head or a KKK member, but not so much. To make matters worse, as our media seems to want to do nothing more than hump Obama's leg, the American people are just now getting fed up with the idea of "fairness." Yes, by doubling-down on households that were under water with their mortgage already, those of us who actually pay our bills are more than just a little pissed at the moment. Special thanks to Rick Santelli for the shot across the bow...
That's all I've got right now. Until tomorrow...
