I have this feeling that women are either shoe fetishists or handbag fetishists.Rarely do the two go together. The shoe lover has to have a new pair as often as possible. It doesn't matter how uncomfortable they are, or that she really does need a new skirt. No the shoes have caught her eye and she must have them.
Other women crave handbags. Personally I cannot pass a bag shop without going in there and having a good look round. If I can afford it I will buy one. Doesn't matter that I've already got half a dozen, handbags are my thing.

I love shoes. I'm exactly as you describe. Who cares if I need to buy an outfit to go with the shoes? Sounds dumb I know.
I often buy them and work the outfit out later.
I really do like handbags, but it's not the same.
I tend to get a new bag once or sometimes twice a year....
I just got one in May, and I still like it, so I'm keeping it for the winter.
The other thing I like is lingerie.
I like looking at it, and buying it.
