On this rainy day in S. California I decided to stay in and work on beading necklaces for my Etsy shop. It's so cozy in here. I made one necklace with chunky beads in warm tones and finished it off with a copper clasp.
The other one is shades of blue and purple and has a silver clasp. Both of them fit over my head unless I have a big hair day or unless I'm wearing a hat.
I have so many beading projects going right now. I'm making a bead embroidery Greenman on silk fabric with tiny seed beads and I'm making a heart design with rose quartz cabachons and crystals and beads. Both are time consuming so I made the necklaces to take a break from the other two.
Yesterday I was at the archery range all day meeting with the paleoplanet crew to make bows and arrows so I'm glad the rain stayed away. So in perfect timing we had a great weekend and now we are getting doused again. At the range I worked on a snake gourd quiver with a beaded Kokopelli (Kokopeli) the humpbacked flute player from Southwestern petroglyphs.
And right now I'm going to go eat lunch.
