Give your experiences with natural or paid heros; like cops, teachers, doctors, parents or firemen and dentists. Think of it. What would you do without them? Aren't  those noble jobs due more dollars, thanks and respect?

What about social heros? Aren't the days of "pig", "establishment", and "black power" over?

We do want to love the good ones. Got a good hero story?

Tell your situation and be real!

paramedics and EMTs.  With my past work history in the medical field I've had a lot of interactions with them.  These guys and gals aren't paid nearly enough to do what they do and see what they see.  They deserve all the love and support that we can give them.

In my personal experience, I had a teacher that was somewhat of a hero to me.  She was there for me through a tough time in my adolescent life ... my parents' divorce.  She didn't judge me, she didn't patronize me, but she was there.  If I needed to break down and cry, she was there.  If I needed help with anything at school she was there.  If I didn't have cash for any of the Equestrian Club outings we went on she footed the bill for me, without asking to be paid back, even though I offered.  At times when she knew my parents couldn't afford to buy clothes for me, or wouldn't ... she seemed to come up with things she "just wasn't wearing anymore" that she wanted me to have.  Not all of those things seemed like it would actually be in her wardrobe, but that knowledge passed silently.  She always had sound and comforting advise.  She also made sure I knew that if I ever needed a place to go, if things were too rough at home, I could call her, she would come get me and things would be OK.  I never did need to do that ... but it meant more than I can express to know that the choice was there.  I wish I was still in contact with her ... she moved away though ... but she was there at an important time and I'll never forget her for that.

I think that Captain Sully who landed the plane on the Hudson River is a true hero.  I was so impressed with his courage, quick thinking, and steadiness.

My mum was my hero! The fact that she could put up with me made her sort of a hero.

If you don't love Alah, or God then you must see me as your true  hero. I accept the fame and glory. I'm gathering souls. Harvesting is hard work, but who else can do it?

I was a male call boy in college. Many females thought of me as their hero. I did what no other men would, or could do, but I was never paid much for my services.

It was a work of love though.

wheel her around!...
I am tired of cops and their fake morals. I got drunk with cops, and got high with cops. Who would ever like cops?...
Why I hate cops...
Police are corrupt thugs who protect the rich and serve themselves. Very bad people. Only thugs, criminals and bullies become cops!...
