Loyalty Catch

Loyalty often used term in the circle of politics and in organizational set up. It means adherence to the norms and procedure laid out to complete a given task. Though, loyalty in politics and in an organization may differ in its basic meaning. But the general sense would remain the same. In the political arena loyalty is related to individuals’ personal attachment on principle basis. It could also mean that one must take the other as unquestioned leader. Should obey in execution of a task, must not ask questions and should not talk to media or other members of the group. It is that strict code of life that one has to stake his life to prove his or her loyalty. It not only means personal attention to the leader, it is in thought as well. Loyalty also could mean to give unbiased assessment. To bring to the notice what no others have brought for the decision making process. It also should be understood, a loyal person in this case – if taken positively has the responsibility to express happenings to the leader in positive terms in relation to the would be decision. It remains the prerogative of the leader to accept or reject the notion. But it remains my obligation. This is loyalty. Loyalty is also related to trust. One would tend to believe that the other would maintain silence on an issue until resolved. The feeling of one’s rear is guarded in presence of the other is the loyalty. This also brings in the faith and believes. To have faith, is to trust to believe in, in summary to rely! Synopsis loyalty. This realm is not only related to political society, but has to manifest in the areas where leader and led situation exists.
Organizational loyalty relates to the generic sense of adhering to the laws and norms of the system. Going through the procedure of the work. To maintain the ways of working as has been handed over to the worker. Here loyalty works in groups. This is in relation to the working atmosphere, and to the assigned task. This loyalty is directly proportional to personal development, in position, finance and authority. It seeks to act and work to achieve power and authority. As discussed it revolves around the group philosophy. Advancement of the group—means own advancement. As an example, a seller advertising and vouching on the authenticity and price of the product is in the interest of the organization—not the buyer. More products are sold, more flow of finance, making more bonus available in the end of the month for all. The penalty is paid here by the buyer. In general sense a seller should remain loyal towards the customer or the buyer. However, this is never the case. In such cases there is absence of believe and trust. The sense of not being cheated does not exist here. Customer invariably feels cheated either on quality or on price. In this case of loyalty the situation of leader and led does not exist. Here, live and let live is the order of the day.
