  Wouldn't you know it... I clicked on the link, and that site has been banned in Turkey (I live in Turkey now).  But never fear, I will use a proxy and take a look.

  Ah... no wonder it was banned.. it was youtube.  And that shows me the real reason that youtube has been banned in Turkey.  Apparently there are a lot of videos on youtube concerning torture on the part of the security police.  I knew it had to be something more than just one video insulting Ataturk.  Anyway, I find it interesting to read the comments of the mostly Turkish people on that youtube page.  The country is clearly divided on this issue, just like Americans are divided on the issue of torture in Guantanamo and other military prisons.  Goes to show, we're all made of the same stuff.
