SHEFFIELD LAKE — A Sheffield Lake woman is under investigation for allegedly asking her children to take photos of her in various states of undress, including nude and while she masturbated so she could send them to men she had met in on-line chat rooms.
The woman has not been charged, but her three sons, 12, 11 and 8, temporarily were taken away from her by Lorain County Children Services, according to a search warrant filed in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.
Sheffield Lake police Capt. Tony Campo said the warrant shouldn’t have been unsealed and declined to comment on the investigation, which is ongoing.
“Nobody’s been arrested. Nobody’s been charged,” he said.
According to the warrant, Sheffield Lake police were alerted by a Children Services worker on Jan. 30 about the photos.
The children were allegedly compelled to take the photos of their mother as she undressed and then masturbated with various objects. This occurred on several occasions according to the warrant.
One of the children also told Children Services that their mother had asked them to pose nude with her in many of the photos. On some occasions they were told to manipulate the objects she was using to masturbate with which included various sex toys, a beer bottle and vegetables.
Police seized both a cell phone and a laptop computer during a Jan. 30 search.
