i ducked out of work early today so i could properly groom for my date tomorrow night with "D".   i stopped at a consignment store to see if i could snag some new clothes, while i was there "D" texted me...

it said "go look out the south window of your office, i'm over on the courthouse lawn i'll wave to you"

crunchberries! i left work early and missed out on a window wave.  how frickin' sweet is the window wave????

he wasn't there stalking me, he was over there for work, because his line of work takes him over to the courthouse at times. so it wasn't creepy. it was sweet. at least i think so.

i was telling my girlfriend about it and she said..."you know what this means right?"

oh crap this "means" something? she said "it means you're on his mind"

hootie hootie hoo!!!! i'm on someone's mind? me? on a mind? of a terribly funny sophisticated man's mind?????? and he wanted to do the window wave???

oh catch me i'm swooning.

our first date is tomorrow night, haven't even met, we've just been talking for a couple weeks now...

ladies...my question for you....would you swoon at the window wave?

men...my question for you...how do i know that this isn't just his M.O.??? maybe he window waves with ALL the girls?

Aww the window wave is the sweetest thing! It does mean you're on his mind.. and he's probably feeling the same teeny bopper excitement for the first date as you are!! So cute!!  :-)

go ahead and swoon, but if you find out later it's a "routine" thing, kick him in the nards!!! LOL

Seriously, it's a good sign, just reserve 10% of your heart so that if it doesn't work out you have something to work with.

I would definitely swoon at the window wave.  It'd leave me with that squishy, butterflies-in-the-stomach, giddy feeling if it were to happen to me.  I'm so excited for you!

so details luv??? when I pop in for a look here at work I wanna read details... minute details... was it an okay date? I get the feeling from you other posts it wasn't what you thought it would or he would be?
  • fragglesrock said on Feb 11, 2009....
oh lucy, i don't even know where to start. <sigh> it's a big ball of self inflicted stress and drama that i don't even care to admit to just yet. and instead of pouring my drama all over everyone i may just send you a pm tomorrow if you would like?
  • fragglesrock said on Feb 11, 2009....
and...just for anyone else who's curious it all boils down to me being naieve enough to think that someone might just like me for me, not for my boobs, not for my ass...well, you get the idea a little maybe?
  • fragglesrock said on Feb 11, 2009....
and shit, since i'm venting afor a sec....i left in TEARS

if i go mental  (and the longer i stay where i am right now..it is only a matter of days..)i can sniff any guy up my nose for you...you´ve seen my nostrils talents...and they will be snorted out as fast as you can say bugger off!

  • woman said on Feb 11, 2009....
Creep! Good thing Lucy wasn't around or HE would have left in tears.
  • auroralost said on Feb 11, 2009....
I'm so sorry things didn't go well.  Ah well, it was just one bad moment and it will pass to make way for something better I'm sure.  In the meantime I hope he breaks his waiving hand.
  • diabolicdame said on Feb 11, 2009....
I'm so sorry frags!! That must've been terrible after all the anticipation! Well I always say better to find out now than later that he's a creep.  (((hug)))
