Hah. I just came from a job interview with a recruitment firm. Turns out that they believe I am qualified to work for Siemens! Hahaha. I told her, Ms. Chinggay, that I applied in that company almost a year ago and I only got as far as the Technical Interview. She asked me who interviewed me, etc; Turns out again that she is actually a Siemens employee and that she is just holding office in WCCS to speed up the recruitment. She gave me some pointers (a list actually) of what to read about and even sent me an old Siemens exam file for my perusal. I teased her about it, she laughed and said it wasn’t cheating because the file is no longer used for the actual exam. She said the actual exam is a lot harder than the file she sent me. We talked about some more stuff about being in the call center and such. Happy naman ako. I just hope I get hired there. Better yet, I hope I like it there. I’m gonna have to do a lot of reading though and a bit more research for me to learn all these techie stuff… Now I’m running out of things to say again… Its really strange. Once you get entrenched in a certain industry or acquire at least a years worth of experience in any job, you become valuable to companies in that same industry. They start texting you if you have a public profile somewhere, or ask other people who worked with you. It’ sometimes get to a point that someone just offers you a higher paying job from out of nowhere! It happened to me several times when I was with convergys. I was happy with my job at the time so I ignored all those offers. I’m sleepy na. It seems it seems I get tired easily lately. No matter, things are definitely looking better already. Geez. I’m really out of words this time. How am I supposed to fill three pages at this rate? While in Makati, I was thinking of applying with another call center there. I changed my mind just when I was about to enter the front door. Why bother. One call center is the same as the other. A job is a job no matter where you are working at. Yawn! I’m getting more and more sleepy. I still have to finish several articles, not to mention three daily pages of crap before I can relax. Which reminds me, how am I supposed to maintain these websites once I start working again? I don’t have to worry too much about it until I actually start working in that new job. I’ll just cross the bridge when I get there. Hah! I’m down to two pages! Wheee! Hahaha. One page to go! Woot! Now I just have to figure out where I’m gonna get the money to use for expenses until I get my first paycheck IF I get hired… I don’t wanna ask from Lola again. I’ve asked so much from her that I’m ashamed to ask for more. I just feel like I ask too many favors from her. Although I don’t ask much, just a few hundred dollars a year, I feel like I’m abusing her kindness. Makes me wonder what she thinks I’m going to use the money for every time I ask her help… I can’t take it anymore. I have to go sleep na…
