SPOILER ALERT: There IS a future for us ahead – and here is your portal for a brief glimpse into that future world.

Tomorrow: food will grow itself, harvest itself and prepare itself for consumption, including beef, chicken and pork, for example, growing without heads, wings, legs, feathers, tails or faces, and ambulatory vegetables and fruits, technically unconscious but biologically programmed for completion of self-preparation

Someday: controlled “frozen” lightning will be harnessed for power, with huge portions of storm zone skies reserved for periodic grids of gigantic, intensely powerful lightning to feed huge batteries for minutes at a time, building great stores of energy for distribution

Once beyond this time: elections will be replaced by opinion polls, with changes implemented when thresholds are crossed by disapproval ratings and approval ratings

In the future: Presidential inaugurations will take place at secret locations to avoid disasters like the one that occurs when a series of missiles are launched at Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2012

One day: every baby born in a high tech society will be harvested for cells that will be nurtured for the individual’s lifespan and grown for replacement parts as needed, kept in cell banks

Surprisingly: relationships become transient but contractual, under the Biological Responsibility Act requiring all citizens to relate responsibly regarding disease and pregnancy; blood markers make contractual partners traceable during terms of contract

The time will come: public nudity will be acceptable and mundane, and standards of sexiness will broaden widely to include all body types, with public orgasms in vogue

As time unfolds: all large buildings, regularly hosting 600 or more occupants daily, will be taxed heavily unless the owner adopts a cat or a dog to be cared for and to reside on the premises – and grounds must be eco-and- bird-friendly

Ahead: personal, birdlike flying will become commonplace for most of the world with the release of plane-packs, lightweight, compact backpacks that transform into wings and easily mastered flight systems based on personal intuition preferences

Eventually: anything done in a “public place” will be recorded from all angles           

Unexpectedly: a carnage of tragic proportions is self-inflicted when the substance popularly called input is unleashed as a toy on an unsuspecting market through worldwide distribution; the intelligent putty is far smarter than expected in open environs and becomes embedded in our infrastructures, animating other substances with chaotic results halted only by time

On the way: undersea fisheries cleanse the oceans of waste and restore an abundance of edible wildlife for population growth, using applied advanced micro-marine biology

Ultimately: there will be two primary police/military forces fighting for world domination, an Eastern World Force and a Western World Force, clashing in historic hotspots and space battlefields, and with warfare increasingly confined to boundaries involving combatants only, both forces are eventually decimated leaving rule by hundreds of thousands of local authorities for the first time in a hundred years

Coming attractions: when you are in the 3-D movie, controlling your own character, interacting with others in unique ways and effecting the plot itself, indistinguishable from real experiences

Potentially: all urban transportation will be “public,” with a variety of interchangeable, dispensable and disposable vehicles replacing private transportation within cities and on state highways; individuals or groups can commandeer the nearest vehicle, with plenty of them readily available or instantly dispensable; controlled by automatic highway systems

Inevitably: revealed secrets expose the wider conspiracy behind the early 21st century September11 attacks against New York and the Pentagon, confirming the demolition theories that had always lingered unsettlingly

Upcoming: ocean wave grid power sources supply abundant cheap energy to poorest parts of the world, with open stationary sea communities widely established on and below the surface of the world’s oceans

Prospects: microscopic armies of deadly designer bacteria wage war on behalf of their human creators on a microscopic scale around the world, killing two billion people

Also: most of us own just one piece of clothing made of self-cleaning, transmutable molecules that can change designs in two seconds on command, adjusting density and mass/energy ratios to get heavier or lighter, larger or smaller, cooler or warmer, softer or stiffer, brighter or paler, black, white or colored.

Finally: a new instrument is invented called a yargti that translates music into physical sensation, causing addictions and widespread euphoria that alarms leaders everywhere – until they, too, succumb, one by one to the incredible craze sweeping civilization
