Chicken On A Chain
Scene of The Crash
Pandora's Box
Mossy Oak Mud Slinger
Blueberry Wine
Bodacious
Reindeer Dippin'

They are past and present bucking bulls of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders).  It's the one sport I follow with any interest.  I sort of fell into it by accident.  I like the bull riders.  I like the bucking bulls.

The motto of the PBR is that "It's the toughest sport on dirt."  They aren't kidding.  It's amazing the cowboys don't get killed.  It's 8 seconds of adrenaline.

Maybe it is because I live with cattle here on the farm.  I know the havoc bulls can cause.  I have great respect for anyone brave enough to get on the back of one.

I have my favorite cowboys and my favorite bulls.  I love the match ups.  It's on tonight.  My favorite cowboy is about to ride.  See you in a bit.

Who'da thunk it?  I gotta say, CDub, you surprised me with this one.  I've never been to a rodeo.  I have to admit, I know next to nothing about it.

I thought they were names of rock bands.  :)

    MsStar,
I love it too.  For some reason it captivates me.

    Mimi,
I've been to a few rodeos in my day.  I've never been to a PBR event.  I might just go for the heck of it one of these days.

They get fairly creative with the bull names.  It's fun.

    Paper,
You made me laugh out loud.  I guess I do like some rough and tumble things for a gal with a quiet nature.  :-)

I thought, Chicken On A Chain, is what you eat at
the Scene of The Crash where Pandora's Box was opened
and the car overturned on Mossy Oak Mud Slinger Road, while
delivering 20 cases of Blueberry Wine to Roadhouse Bodacious,
where they were introducing the latest sport of Reindeer Dippin'.

    ;-))

I've never been to a rodeo but the cowboys I've seen look like a good enough reason to attend...

CW, while I'm not as avid as it as you are, I do like to watch a good PBR event when I catch it on.  The weird thing is, even though I don't ride broncs, bulls or what have you, I feel so in my element with them.  I guess because of being in the horse world and then having the cattle on the farm, it just feels natural.  I haven't gotten to go to any rodeos either, but when they come around and I talk to my friends about going they, of course (since, aside from my husband, they don't have horses, cattle or anything of the like), don't have much interest.  So I idly sit it out and wish I could be there.  I think they're afraid they might lose me though, lol, because I'd be so comfortable, and so into it, I might just travel on with the rodeo!

[looks above ...hangs head in embarassment] I did not mean to make such a sordid remark on meals re: Scene of the Crash *covers face in shame* ...it was almost 5 am as I posted the comment, - stress of the week and my common sense filter was not working...

    ...my apologies :(

At first I thought you were listing the ingredients to a great rodeo show. Wouldn't that be a great show ? Oh the smell of manure.  Yee Hah !!
    Now suddenly my butt hurts.

    Mimi,
Recipes with those names would be fun.  :-)

    Paper,
    That's so funny!

    MMI,
Drinks with those names would surely pack a whollop!

    Never,
    You are very clever.  :-)

    woman,
I saw a t-shirt once that said:  Cowboy butts drive me nuts.  :-)

    Hegemone,
I'm around horses and cattle all the time too.  I wouldn't say it's my element though.  You don't have to be a horse person to enjoy a rodeo.  The atmosphere is fun.

    blue,
Those would have been some creative titles.  lol

    Paper,
Don't you dare be embarrassed!  Your comments were fun.  I enjoyed them.  :-)

    CM,
It would be a great show.  Those bulls really buck hard.  I think your butt would hurt whether you lasted 8 seconds on one or not.  :-)

Oh no, I know you don't have to be a horse person to enjoy a rodeo, but in my particular setting in life, I'm the only one that's interested in them, everybody else just sees dirty, smelly, sweaty, stuff going on.  Plus, it's just another animal related event, and well, I love the animals, so, lol, that's where I really feel set in about it.
  • CreativeWoman said on Feb 08, 2009....
    Hegemone,
I understand.  I'm sure it puts a whole different spin on it if you love the animals.  :-)

I was going to say Rock and Roll albums.

They might have been band names too.

  • CreativeWoman said on Feb 08, 2009....
    dyingman,
They easily could have been.  :-)  I remember there used to be rock band called April Wine years ago.
