The War On Terror Is A Hoax

By Paul Craig Roberts

http://www.countercurrents.org/roberts050209.htm

If America were infected with terrorists, we would not need the government to tell us. We would know it from events. As there are no events, the US government substitutes warnings in order to keep alive the fear that causes the public to accept pointless wars, the infringement of civil liberty, national ID cards, and inconveniences and harassments when they fly. The most obvious indication that there are no terrorist cells is that not a single neocon has been assassinated...

    yesss and yess again

the neo-cons are the ones that created Osama Bin Laden, they created the Jihad - they don't get assassinated, they assassinate. This is why so very many people are terribly afraid for Obama. He is so much like JFK, that many are emotionally preparing for deja vu. The oil cartels supposedly killed Kennedy and they are even more powerful today than ever before.

the war on drugs was the creation of an international cartel of gov drug dealers...remember the Iran Contra affair. The war against Afghanistan is an oil and opium war. the war against Terrorism was and is a military offensive against major drug sources (Afghan poppies and hashish), columbia etc....

I want an end to all wars, I want to stop incarcerating the self-destructive and those that help them destroy themselves with drugs. I say give them drugs for free and make it a large dose. I'm tired of paying tax monies to keep peops from hurting themselves. creating a world-wide black market is all the war on drugs has created.

And when i heard the list of terrorists that the bush admin protected us from, I also realized - in no uncertain terms - that the war on terror was devised decades ago. I can track the beginning of this to the grant that Bush 1 gave to the University of Nebraska to print text books for muslim children teaching them about jihad, complete with pictures of how a jihaddy should dress. and low and behold out pops little jihadies that get activated by the CIA. Mind control is something that the US and Russia perfected and now, these two govs are working together in Afghanistan. playing us all like a haarp

    mahalo for your aloha

Declassified DoD Documents Say Detainees Were Tortured to Death

    Posted: 11 Feb 2009

    By Jason Leopold

Newly declassified Defense Department documents describe a pattern of “abusive” behavior by U.S. military interrogators that directly led to the deaths of several suspected terrorists imprisoned at a detention center in Afghanistan in December 2002.

The previously secret pages from the report were part of the a wide-ranging report into detainee abuse known as the Church Report, named after Vice Admiral Albert T. Church who conducted the investigation. That report said there was "no policy that condoned or authorized either abuse or torture."

But the declassified Pentagon documents, coupled with a report issued last December by the Senate Armed Services Committee, tell a different story and lend credence to claims by civil libertarians and critics of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld that refusal to release a fully classified version of the Church Report several years ago amounted to a cover-up.

Halliburton, KBR Plead Guilty to Cheney-Era Bribery Charges

    Posted: 11 Feb 2009

    By Jason Leopold

Halliburton and its former subsidiary, Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR), pleaded guilty Wednesday to five-counts of violating federal bribery laws and will pay the federal government $402 million to settle a decade-long criminal investigation into claims the company paid off intermediaries of the notoriously corrupt Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha and some of his subordinates to win a lucrative construction contract for a natural gas liquefaction plant while former Vice President Dick Cheney headed the corporation, the Justice Department announced.

KBR entered guilty pleas to a five-count criminal information in federal court in Houston before U.S. District Judge Keith P. Ellison. KBR pleaded guilty to conspiring with its joint-venture partners and others to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) by authorizing, promising and paying bribes to a range of Nigerian government officials, including officials of the executive branch of the Nigerian government officials and others in exchange for securing construction contracts.

KBR also pleaded guilty to four counts of violating the FCPA related to the joint venture’s payment of tens of millions of dollars in "consulting fees" to two agents for use in bribing Nigerian government officials.

is anyone going to jail for these crimes shelter? or was it a slap on the wrist, and a winkie, winkie ;' fine that doesn't even come close to hurting this un-American US company?

I wonder why KBR and Halliburton don't get more press for the junk they are up to? Oh yeah, the same type of press that Ray Hunt got when he scooped up the Kurdish oil contracts on the heels of our nation building in the name of American values. Same thing as Nigeria, the peops look the other way when our corruption has profits attached. This is one of the many reasons that Americans are eating shit right now, bc they got too busy to check their government. And many Americans believe in looting in the name of liberty and justice for all. Now they can eat liberty for lunch, cus they aint got no balogney left!

US Department of Defence role in CIA's secret jails

Defence sought to delay the release of Guantanamo prisoners who were scheduled to be sent home by a month and a half in order to avoid bad press. 14 Feb 2009 Three human rights groups have obtained documents that confirm US Department of Defence involvement in the CIA's "ghost" detention program, and the existence of secret prisons at Bagram air base in Afghanistan and in Iraq. The documents obtained as part of a long-running legal battle using freedom-of-information laws were released by the Department of Defence to Amnesty International USA, the Centre for Constitutional Rights and the Centre for Human Rights and Global Justice last week.

i wish more people would read your posts shelter

next to you and this very pertinent info they seem unreal to me

which is why I am treated like a vile wart that everyone is trying to ignore

unfortunately for most people they have ignored the ugly truth for so very long that they are hopeless and powerless to the point that it is someone else who is to blame for the stuff that is nipping at their heels.

next to the info you are posting about, most of these posts are designed to forget what is happening around them.

i find it incredibly pathetic that anyone could defend our foreign or domestic policies, pathetic that people of all types are not rioting in the streets against our military and CIA

honesty is at a premium and many amerikans pay $80 per hour to lie to a shrink so that there is at least one person in the world that feigns interest
