PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has had their commercial banned from being shown during the Superbowl.  The network says it's too risque'.
 
 

It is pretty racy for American television.  I'm not surprised the network gave it the ax.
 
Kinda makes me want to raid the produce department though.  ;)

    It always amazes me though that our kids are subjected to violence, killings, robberies, fowl language and blood curdling torture in just about every film/drama that is put out now but give us a little inuendo about sex?  Oh - it's too risque - can't show that.  We even teach our kids that when something happens whilst their favourite sports player is playing Ice Hockey that he doesn't like, it's ok for him to just go punch hell outta the other guy and he doesn't even get punished or penalised for it!!  That stinks too - it isnt aggression in sport - that is outright GBH/assault that any man in the street would be arrested and charged for.  But whatever we do, we musn't let our young impressionable ones see anything to do with natural human nature - SEX!

    I think that advert could do more to turn people to being veggie than anything they've ver put out before LOL!!

    They also love to do demonstrations where they have live girls naked in cages.
    There's something strange and weird about it.
     
    I have nothing against veggies, I'm mild-veggie myself.
    I only eat fish and poultry, when I do eat meat.

    It is a racy add....but I've seen worse. In a world where nothing is sacred any more, nothing surprises me. I hate to ask can we sink any lower...because the answer seems to be always YES.

    I don't think its racy at all, I do think its a bit of a sick image for people to see though.  Its not just the sex but the fact its pumping into womens minds once again they aren't sexy enough as they are and need to look like those chics by being vege, wearing those kinds of nicjers and highheals.. fucked up ad.

    Yeah, I saw that commercial elsewhere and was completely surprised that PETA went that far.  I mean, sure, good point and sex sells ... but did they actually think they could get all of THAT on prime time TV?  They had to have known it was going to get the ax.
