In a recession it is always great on how to suss ways on finding new money....
An Ohio homeowner and her handyman, who found $182,000 of depression-era money in the walls of her home, couldn’t decide how to split it evenly. The best thing to do? Get the papers involved of course. To which, the former homeowners decided they deserved some of the found money, so took the woman to court.
The homeowner spent $14,000 on a trip to Hawaii and rare bills and had $60,000 stolen from a shoebox in her closest. Later on, she filed for bankruptcy, perhaps it’s a good time to get a cash loan – though don’t hide it in a shoe!
