  I just popped in for a few and what do I see?  Nice to see you here, but sorry about the job situation.  You are right about "having a job" being a sort of status symbol.  I stupidly quit the last pidddly one I had and now I am worried about ever getting another one.  I hated it there but now I see, at least I could say I had a job.  I hope you will find an even better one maybe that you will enjoy.

  Ed. I think I just had to go through some sad feelings. I left friends and all of my children, so it wasn't easy. It was the right thing to do, but not easy. To be honest I couldn't seem to move, couldn't even get up off the couch for the first two weeks. Just physically weak. I'm over that now and moving on. Started a yoga class. Spending lots of time with my grandchildren. Planning a trip to Guatemala if my current plumbing/heating crisis isn't too expensive. I want to take more spanish classes, visit friends, and sightsee. I am also writing a book about my father's life. It's been a joy. Thanks for asking Ed.

  Hey Ed... miss those trout smacks and smoking law debates...lol.  The last 6 months?  Oh, let's see..  July, esoteric workshop in Spain, following the sun in Italy, August, getting stuffed in Turkey, whirlwind tour of Greece, film train movie in Prague, September back to work, yuk! October, volunteering at dog kennel in Italy, November, shoot another film, break teeth, December, quit job, move to Turkey, January, meet up with Brazilian friend in Istanbul, esoteric workshop in Italy, all-expenses-paid trip to the Canary Islands, back to Prague to pick up some stuff and give some card readings.  Projected in the near future, return to Turkey and pick up writing and dream interpreting.  No more teaching.  Yay!  That's it in a nutshell.

  Lets see, Todd broke up with me in Dec.  thought of potential hardships and decided it was better to not marry me.  Go figure.  So I started dating someone I met at work and he's inspiring me to do more with my writing.  Great guy.    I too lost my job and in the middle of searching for a new one with no luck, so moving to Myrtle Beach to try there instead of Pittsburgh.

  First let me say that I'm glad that you posted again......this place is just not the same without you and...
  Second...I'm sorry to hear about your job loss.  I'm sure that there is plenty of jobs available but you'd have to downsize and work for far less than what you deserve and are capable of.
  I am in the service industry (Front Desk staff) and due to the economy and my situation with becoming single I'm forced to also go back to what I was doing before in Security.  Only now I just have a 2 day part-time to fill in the gaps with the bills and get a head start on them and some home improvements that I want.
  I will keep you in my prayers and ever thought about going international ? Maybe there's some company out there that is looking for a trustworthy I.T.guy to take care of business down south.
  At any rate....I'll keep you in my prayers and don't worry...I'm sure things will work out because as you know...for every door that closes...another one or two open.
