  oh gheesh can i soooo relate with this!!! both my best friends are the "lookers" and whenever i go anywhere with them they are the ones getting the manly attention!!! i think that along with looks some women just carry themselves in a way that demands attention...wish they would bottle it so i could by some of that stuff :)

  Yeah I'm going to have to say that it does have to do with confidence in some instances.  I'm sure it's got to just deflate you when you think you're 100% HOT and then somebody tries to go through to for her, or ignores you completely and goes for her, etc.  It's a blow to the confidence bone and I'm sure despite your best efforts, it's hard to maintain that full blown confidence that you had when you walked in.  Try to shake those times off and KEEP the confidence.  That, or, stop going out man hunting with her maybe?

  As crazy as it sounds i once read something in a self help book that wasnt mine, i found it and the book was already open and i didnt actually read it a friend told me about or something : P  lol, ok...

  Stand naked in the mirror, dont cry.  And point out all the beautiful things about yourself.  Even if you dont think they are beautiful.  Lie to yourself. 

  ex:  My thighs are fat and cellulitey and grosse...but i see them in the mirror and i tell my self "they are soft and full and sensuously sexy"...

  Do this any chance you get.  Turn negatives into positives and your self esteem and confidence will increase...

  Soon you wont notice all the men hitting on your friend.  All you will think is that those men just dont know a good woman when they see one. 

  Seriously though, men hit on anything...I dont know what your friend looks like but id be willing to bet money that shes one of those chics that puts on her best street walker outfit to go out...

  FACT:  Men hit on women they think they will fuck.  (ok not all and its not actually a fact but for the most parts its true, lots of man friends have admitted this to me.  They scan a room for the most vulnerable my daddy didnt love me women in the room and hit on them first..)

  The few guys that actually go to bars to meet nice chics are prolly the shy ones in the corner waiting for miss right to make the first move. 

  So my advice, do the mirror thing, dont worry about your friend, fasten on a pair of cajunas and go get the man ya want.  : )
