I’m really impressed with an injury lawyer firm in Connecticut who are attempting to reduce the number of car accidents due to drink driving.
Apparently they are handing out $1,000 to 10 students for a scholarship who go onto a course in college or university. To enter, they have to write an essay on the effects of drunk driving.
I think this is a great idea, because it will raise more awareness of the matter with younger generations, and it is in a way that the teenagers can get a reward.
I’m all up for trying anything to stop this reckless act, especially as it is the leading killer of teens today.
