I did it, I found the dress.
Ever sense the very start when i tried on that Tulle Poof dress at David's Bridal with my mom. I knew it was that style, that fabric that I wanted.
A'course my heart broke when I found out it didnt come in extra length. I foraged on looking for something even better with the extra length.
I went and scoured "Madonna's" with Meliss, they didnt have anything even close. I figured id try on different styles to see if something else wowed me. I didnt look as hot in any of them as I did in the poofy princess Tulle fabric one.
Then I went with my mom again yesterday. She had me take work off to avoid the crowd. We went to "Roxy's". I went straight to my size, they had nothing even close that I could try on.
I went to the clerk and described "MY" dress to her, the dress of my dreams, the dress i havnt found, the figment of my imagination.
"I want laced cap sleeves with sparkle embelishments, I want a corset back with a sweetheart front, I want transitional beading and embellishment to go from my middle down passed my hips, i want it to gradually turn into "tulle" fabric and poof out for miles at my feet."
SHE LAUGHED AT ME!!!
"hehe, well, you can feel free to look through our catalogs, we just got our spring additions for 09"
A little dishearted my mom and i plunked down at the table and started aimlessly flipping through pages.
My mom loved all kinds of dresses stopping my maniacle flipping with "o-0-00- look at this one" and thats when i saw it. I saw MY DRESS the dress i didnt think anyone had made!
Im thinking of writing the designer Maggie Sottero a personal thank you card : )
Its been ordered with my prebaby measurements, with any luck it will fut come wedding time.
