  yes people who've been here a long time seem to bemoan the changes while new faces keep popping up at an increasing rate, and the social cliques among us dominate the feature pages with their socializing comments, so good writing is ususally lost somewhere in the shuffle.......but people aren't here for good writing, they're here to rant and chat...gossip and self-promotion...

  My following here is miniscule, however I enjoy logging in and using the site to share potentially amazing information. Additionally, it provides an ongoing log of such. I've never particularly noticed the wax and wane of particulars, but it always seems that a regular flow of new posts is cascading in.

  Well, that was an excellent bit of research and there were a few other posts I recall reading about SC supposedly dying. I don't think it is. Sure some old names are gone but I see new people here all the time. I can't keep up. I have to take aleave of absense sometimes just to relax and col off before coming back to another swath of new names.

  At one time, this place was on fire with arguments and fights.  Then it kind of died down to a low roar.   So I am sure with all the excitement, it must seem pretty dead when the fighting stops.  Some of us take a break because we become to hooked on it. Then it came become too time consuming.

  I am curious to see that one of my posts was on that list - and it was not about the demise of soulcast either - but rather about one particular wench who had become a turn coat just cos she has a screw loose.
  But the stats are encouraging though - i just wish there was something that could be done about the weekends - one thing i have noticed that on most weekends the only people who are around are the spammers - and for everyone else this place seems like a 5 day a week joint - why is that?

  SC has heart.  That is what makes it special to me.  I'm not here to read Pulitzer quality essays.  It's a good place to just be yourself...if you want to be.

  I'm not sure I prefer to read fights and crap like that a good argument yes but there are plenty of those around as well as fun and interesting posts, intriguing peole to meet and talk to.  It is not boring here at all.....

  Lucy - one of my great puzzlements has always been "boredom." I'm never bored when I'm alone. Only when forced to be with boring people.

  cup - indeed your post WAS about the demise of SoulCast - what else do you call testimony as to why you were withdrawing posts from the site? It was evidence, a snapshot in time from the collapse of the tower...except the tower isn't actually collapsing, it's shifting.

  mom - yeah - I seem to recall you and copsunucklehead "Jerry Springerizing" the place up a bit back when...and I don't mind a little SIthBorging myself from time to time...
