Hell its shit work but the hours are good and the pay is alright.

I know I'm going to hate it, and its going to be soul-destroying depressing work, but I need it.

Thanks. To be honest I'm looking forwards to being out of cheffing.

And I'll keep applying for other stuff while I'm doing this too.

If nothing comes up I'll just have to wait it out while I finish college.

Work enriches the soul, no matter what kind... is how I tried (try) to view it... one has just to adjust one´s perspective...

I remember finally coming to Europe, after working in the national theater of my home country (Philippines) for 4 years (during college),  a year of working for a highly reputable television network in the country´s capital (after college) and half a year of being an all arounder in an advertising company in UAE (my first job abroad)..to end up delivering newspaper while I attended German language school in a city from the north part of the country... you would say depressing... but i viewed it as humbling and use it to learn something about myself and others... it made me treasure all the jobs I had before, and after...

I am wishing you luck that you soon find a job that is rewarding for your soul... in the mean time I hope you would have a rewarding experiences from the job you currently have now.. :)

    paper ~

I'm so sorry it's not a job you enjoy.  I understand doing work to pay the bills.  Hopefully there will be some skill or experience you glean from this work that will serve you well further down the road.

sorry I was in a whingy mood.

When I was 19 I moved to France. Then I got injured losing the use of my left arm. My girlfriend dumped me. Then I lost my job. I had to travel on coaches home, it took me two weeks to get the trip home organised.

I wound up standing in my hometown, crippled, nearly bankrupt, no car, no money, alone. And I bounced back from that. So I can rebound from this.

    Good luck.

One thing about door to door sales is that you'll get used to rejection really fast.

    It'll build character.  :)

Lol I'm used to that already from the dating game.

Something is better than nothing Seer.  Ya never know, it might just be the stepping stone until something better.  Good luck with it either way and I hope it's not the soul sucking job you think it could be.

Leavin' work now ......
Wow, it's Thursday and I haven't, as of yet, gotten past my Monday passive/aggressive mentality...sigh. Thursday, it can't be past three pm on Monday. I just recently returned from leave and the whole mentality of being at work can be described as being...
I suppose, anyway, just quit looking at my coffee ... that'll get you into trouble and you don't want trouble....
finding death...
